Quite intense for an opening stage with many of the favourites up front. Seeing the team already taking responsibility makes me optimistic about the stages to come.

damn, how was it decided that Poorseyedi would loose that jersey. Would have been great to go into the deciding stages as the GC leader.
Our second team leader Ito showing that he is also in great form taking tenth on a sprint stage, way ahead of our "sprinter" Uugunbayar.
By the way, smowz, it was stage 2 not 3 like written in the title. |

Overall the result was good, but quite shocked to see Bugge crush Matthews like that..

Well color me officially lost. Like getting the win, but can't even start to explain what happened there. Haedo didn't have the legs after the lumpy stage, Duque must have realized that and went for himself. Why in the world Veilleux was that far up front is another question, though it worked out great. Did like seeing Magallanes attack and will love wearing the leaders jersey tomorrow.

Oh man, Azteca is now going to dominate the sprints for the rest of the season, it seems like they haven't failed much yet
Surprisingly, somehow Rosskopf is a sprinter now. Nice to keep out of trouble, but maybe he needs to stop wasting energy...

Nice job by Schachman! Leading young classi. Hopefully Castano will still be the leader on the semi-mountain stage though

That was a really wierd stage. Nice to get mentioned a lot, but I don't like that we always seem to be in a negative light.

Fairly anonymous from Nutresa thus far, LS Haedo with a minor placing and an appearnace in the BotD on day 1. Now for the real racing to kick-off with the upcoming decisive stages .

Poorseyedi is performing way better than I expected from him, I really didn't expect much of this race. Now hoping he won't loose too much in the time trial and can secure his podium spot.
Ito is kind of disappointing though, I expected more of him, because of his 74 hill. |

Jeannesson's tactics were stupid. He woud have stayed withCastano on the final climb but rather commints to3 stupid attacks. I need someone to save this race for me now.

Solid performance by Castano, though I wish he would have gone a bit earlier, as he seemed really strong when he first went. Wonder what mt. ratio was thou? Expected the climbers to domintate
Now just to secure his podium on the TT

Bugge is in shape! Finally our first win of the season. Nervous before the TT, clearly not Bugge's strength (64). Had also hoped Olsson would get a little higher, so he could contend for a top 10 spot, but surely I can't complain

Too bad Dyball didn't move earlier, but he did a good job with damage control.

Oh, never realised we were actually in this one.
Too bad McConvey couldn't replicate his San Luis form, though at least he did show our jersey with a few attacks from time to time.

Seems like our team does not like to go for a move early...though Rosskopf put in one hell of an effort, dropping everyone with him. Still, it's going to be tough to make up a couple minutes in the TT, but at least we are giving our goal a chance.
