@Jesleyh:
Thanks for the kind words, Jesleyh.
@Camacho:
Thanks, mate. I'm really impressed by your steady, ongoing TDF creation process. Can sense the efford need to put in to make a high detailed Grand Tour.
For myself I've too much respect to start a similar project, cause chances are high it would stay unfinished... but when the dust is settled I'll definitely take a look for more important races.
@sutty:
Thanks, am happy you dropped by.
@Ian Butler:
Thanks, Ian.
"Spawn wallhouse" is a great new option in the editor you can use to let your cities shine bright the easy way.
The look is even much more realistic than with the auto-cities, plus you can use it just to create a sidewalk (along with other customisation options)
1. Terrain --> Spawn wallhouse
2. Place dots and customise with the options menue on right hand
3. Pimp the fluff to get a quite realistic looking city

Wow that looks like a great addition to the editor - good work as always with it in the Yorkshire Classic

That spawn wallhouse feature looks amazing! I was just hoping for some new isolated buildings, but this makes the process much quicker as well. Finally, the cities will look realistic!
Can't wait till I get my copy of the game.

@Stromeon:
Thanks. There're some useful additions to the new editor, though many are minor.

Honestly, after all your great creations from last edition I expected a cyanide employee bringing you the new PCM right to your doorsteps.
Some isolated buildings are added, mostly houses. A folder with town houses (mid-size building we've seen in the pre-release screens) and lots of tall houses which allows to spawn the big city houses individualy.
So expect a lot of fun... you're drooling for a reason.
Can't wait for your upcoming stages and ideas! |

Not a convertion, cause they changed the route, but could re-use some of Tsawwassen's surrounding areas I made last season.

Both races look great, nice job (looks like you're making great use of the editor new features, which is cool)

My excitement builds as I continuously see new things to download. However much like I keep asking on other threads....where do I put these files in the game folder?! Sorry I am a complete newbie to all of this. Also are these stages playable in career mode or just as stage races/stages?! |

@ lluuiiggii & sutty:
Thanks a lot, guys!
@owen10ozzy:
The downloadable stage files should be in cm_stages of your game folder. To make them playable ingame you've to edit your database; lluuiiggii described here how it works (in PCM13, too). For testing my stages I use the modified realname DB in the attachment (place in: ...\Documents\Pro Cycling Manager 2013\Mod\Database), which is not recommended for careers, but works well in stage race mode.

Very exciting new SE feature for me right now is the ability to let fences fly.
Obviously it's used to make the pontons work...
...but can be used in many different ways, even to create new buildings...
...at least to make new frontages, what allows me to fix a pit lane:
It could come handy for bridge design as well (specially voie=3 or voie=4 bridges)...
...beware: whenever going over water you need to use more (fences) waypoints to prevent them from sinking:

Fences fly? That's great news, didn't know about that (actually I didn't even know there were new fences, but it seems there are ). 3 and 4-lane bridges were the first thing that came to my mind, but you pointed out some very interesting other uses there

Wow, you can do miracles with flying fences! Nice job!
Are you planning a WT/WC/NC variant in the near future? |

Thanks a lot for the kind words, guys!
Didn't made up my mind yet how the next new stages will look like, but am not that interested in another variant. Gonna take a look for 2013 races where the real routes are missing (ideas welcome). |
