Oh yeah, and Firefox is good too.
Internet Explorer is shit...
I seriously don't understand why everyone says this. I think they jsut jump on the bandwagon. They say it is slow but honestly I've never seen that, and I've used all 3 for a substantial amount of time.
I stand by what I said.

Opera is a very good browser and is by far better than Firefox. It's simply less popular
@bbl
Explorer is shit not only for speed(which however depends more on your connection) but for the fact that it's like an old version of Chrome or Firefox. It's also very buggy and can't open several sites(not the biggest ones like Youtube, Facebook, etc.)

Could you please stop calling out each other here?
If there is something wrong get to the admins and we will have a look.
Calling out each other in a thread is not nice.
Thank you.
We're definitely destroying his life
Yeah, leave poor boy alone. I think this is serious case of cyber bullying and all the members that notice (the illusion i mean) MARS is most annoying member of the century should be banned. Where should i send my reports and claims? I have full notebook and that Number Murica guy is first in the line.

Mars didn't get banned, so only needs one account....
And, more importantly, does Mars have an awesome story? Did Mars make beautiful jerseys? Did Mars help things like the MG by reporting? Did Mars do ANYTHING of note besides Spamming?
So, which of those twp is the valuable member?
And yet despite his story, db work and jersey work he was still enough of an ass to get himself banned. And if that doesn't say everything about the matter i don't know what does.
Now can we go ONE FUCKING DAY without mentioning admir and just adding pointless comment after pointless comment on a matter that is shut/closed/done/finished/ended
Things does not always end when we want, sometimes they have their own life, where it still interests a lot of people even when you would rather see it fading...

It isn't the real problem. IE is probably the browser that opens the biggest number of sites, mainly old ones. Though, it is buggy when it comes to the html/flash part, in fact you can't surf several sites with Explorer. You can't add extensions as well.
@all, really, everyone wants to see Mars stopping, I am not an exception, but stop teasing him. Stop comparing him to Admir, he has nothing to do with him, they are 2 completely different users. Besides this, I think that he strongly wants this kind of attention from us. He is in a phase of adolescence that makes him feel totally insecure, even though we know that he's behaving like a 5y old child. Stop it, it won't make him leave pcm.daily. AT ALL.

Internet explorer is slower(i used all three, too...i even used opera and a custom one), extensions are more complicated to install, it has a lots of bugs and security holes. Because of that it is extremely unsecure to use it. Ok...its unsecure to use every pc without an anti virus software or a firewall, but internet explorer puts his icing on the cake...

Again I've never had those problems. And design wise, I think it is fine. Clean and simple. Take up no room really. But that must be very bad for Safari, which still looks like Internet Explorer 8.
Never had a virus, cause I just don't go on extremely suspicious sites, so that's not hard. It doesn't bug out for me 99% of the time either. And to the people saying you can't surf several sites, I'm a little confused. Cause tabs have been a thing in every browser for like 12 or 13 years. What version of IE are you even talking about, cause I'm talking about 11 and you seem some years behind. I assume if you haven't sued it you probably are still on 9...
I've not had much trouble with Firefox either, though I get infrequent adobe crashes. And Chrome, well it's alright. I don't like the design Google uses for everything, so that's kind of bleh to me. Plus, Google is just an evil company who I refused to be associated with anything except for my email, which I made years ago, and Youtube.

Being a web programmer I have to do work and testing with all of them, and for me.
Firefox and Chrome are the kids fighting over who is best. One is better for one type of use, another for a different type. Opera is the kid in the fedora telling us how he's so much better because he's different
IE is the kid in the corner with the special needs football helmet eating a jar of glue.

Opera isn't different. With that update is almost the same as Chrome. Maxthon is different.

If that's IE then Safari is a dead kid with flies around him. We are talking about use of a casual browser, not programming for it.
And why the hell are you using kids? That's just plain wrong phrasing. Jesus.

I loved Chrome, untill it got 50 ads per page and in the end I couldn't see what stood on the page despite having adblocker... So I switched to Mozilla and there have been 0 commercials for two month span I've had it, so I recommend it
Chrome is great. Firefox is great. IE is great. The differences are minute and more related to your IP, individual speeds and preferences.
Firefox is my default browser but i have both Chrome and IE. Chrome because some sites work best with Chrome and IT because it's standard on all windows computers. I've used them all and it's a pointless, almost "fanboy console war", argument.
It does sound like people need to try out the new version of IE for an extended period because it is much improved on some older versions (and i conceed some old version were utter crap), same as Chrome and Firefox.
Oh yeah, we were talking about that, completly forgot. Thanks for reminding us trek so we can go back to talk about a topic that otherwise would have ended.
so I've posted 90% of the coming discussion about said subject so can we skip it this time
