Shouldn't there be a rule that the worst 2 results don't count then? Especially with the holidays coming up that would seem to be fair.

Remember that you can still join the round now even though you will score a low number of points. Better than nothing at least, anyways, you will be added to the standings at the end of the first round you participate in.

I don't understand. What happened? nIs Cunego59 not doing it anymore? And you are taking over control JSeadog1? And why isn't there an update today?

Yeah I'm confused. I read the other post, but still. What are you doing? Where do we send our answers now? What's cunego's stance on all this?

Here's what I understood: currently, cunego is the "game leader". As he wrote in the first post, each game consists of 5 rounds. The winner of this game will be the new leader for the next game (=will formulate and evaluate questions/answers) (which should also consist of 5 rounds, and where the overall classification will start from 0).
What jseadog will be doing will be keeping track of each user points from all games (while each game has its own classification), making an "overall overall" ranking. At the end of the year the person with the most points is claimed the 2012 champion. You can see it as a season mode in PCM only with stage races, where each stage is a round, each stage race is a game and there's the overall ranking which is the one jseadog will be keeping track of But obviously I could be wrong, so a confirmation from jseadog or cunego would be good
So, you should still send your answers to cunego. And as to why there was no update today, I'd guess that he didn't have time to post it

Absolutely correct! All answers to game leader! I just keep overall points

Sorry for not posting here, had a couple of hectic days, the evaluation of the last round will come soon.
About the confusion here, lluuiiggii summed it up correctly. I will of course finish this first game as the game leader. jseadog simply asked me whether he could keep an overall overall score and I saw no reason why not. What he does with that (the banner for instance) is down to him

I'm with stupid
Season 1, Round 3 - Evaluation
Question 1: Who is going to win the European Championships?
Just like in most of the questions, the answers weren't as diverse as I hoped them to be. Germany is the most named answer of all the rounds until now. 28 participants believe in them. Only 13 believe in Spain, while the rest of the countries are only named once.
Spoiler 1x England
1x Greece
1x Italy
1x Portugal
1x Russia
1x Arjen Robben
1x Not Arjen Robben
Question 2: Who is the best European player - except for Cristiano Ronaldo?
The Spaniards dominated here. Xavi was the top answer (16), Andres Iniesta (9) followed. The others were more or less irrelevant, although one rebel cold-bloodedly answered Cristiano Ronaldo, and another one honestly confessed "No Idea".
Spoiler 3x Robin Van Persie
3x Mario Gomez
2x Lionel Messi
2x Wayne Rooney
2x David Beckham
1x Zlatan Ibrahimovic
1x Robert Lewandowski
1x Fernando Torres
1x Mesut Özil
1x David Villa
1x Joey Barton
1x Mario Balotelli
1x David Silva
1x Alan Dzagoev
3. Who is the best trainer / manager / directeur sportive of all times?
Not a real question for the community: Sir Alex Ferguson outshines everyone else with 25 nominations. Only José Mourinho (10) had a notable amount of votes as well.
Spoiler 4x Pep Guardiola
1x Guus Hiddink
1x Joachim Löw
1x Louis Van Gaal
1x Franz Beckenbauer
1x Gianni De Biasi
1x Kazimierz Gorski
1x Roberto Di Matteo
1x Vincente del Bosque
1x Alex McLeish
4. Name an important football club - except for the FC Barcelone.
The same image displays itself here. It might have even been a mistake to exclude the FCB. Because now, the predominant club mentioned was Real Madrid (28 votes). Manchester United was also an option for many (13 votes), but apart from that, there wasn't much creativity.
Spoiler 2x Chelsea London
1x Preston North End
1x Inter Milan
1x Arsenal London
1x Deportivo La Coruna
1x Aston Villa
5. Name the best footballer of all times.
A rather close battle here between the two legends Pele and Diego Maradonna. The Brazilian decided it in his favor: 21 - 15. Alakagom self-conciously named himself, which also allows him to conclude this round with the aimed five points.
Spoiler 4x Leo Messi
1x Zico
1x Eusebio
1x Zbigniew Boniek
1x Alfredo Di Stefano
1x Tom Finney
1x Abe Lenstra
1x Thierry Henry
Round Classification:
1 | johannes-w | 118 | 2 | Gulvplanke | 112 | 3 | cio93 | 105 | 4 | Vitapen | 103 | | alexkr00 | 103 | | Mresuperstar | 103 | | ember | 103 | 8 | johnnyjur | 101 | 9 | Levi4life | 99 | 10 | Sykkel_Freak | 97 |
There were more points to achieve than in any other round before and johannes-w made the most of it. His 118 points were the maximum possible. Behind him and Gulvplanke, the ranking is really close.
Let's what that changes for the overall:
1 | Gulvplanke | 265 | 2 | SportingNonsense | 237 | 3 | johnnyjur | 233 | 4 | Squire | 228 | 5 | Vitapen | 220 | | Wilier | 220 | 7 | chris01 | 216 | 8 | cio93 | 214 | 9 | fernando97 | 210 | 10 | Spilak23 | 207 |
With his next top result, Gulvplanke extends his lead and will be hard to beat in this round. Squire loses two places, to the benefit of SportingNonsense and johnnyjur, who climbs up with consistent scoring. The same applies for Vitapen. Spilak23 had a rather bad round, falling from 4 to 10.
I'm with stupid: cunego59's Round 4
Miscellaneous
Question 1: Name a fruit.
Question 2: Name something, that you can find in an ocean.
Question 3: Name a farm animal.
Question 4: Name a movie star.
Question 5: Name an author.

This round will be tough, have to think about it on a different level to score another top score.

Damn, I really shouldn't have picked Guardiola. I thought that he would profit from the recent success, but apparently I made a mistake there.
Should have gone with Sir Alex instead.

Not bad for my first round. Should have gone with Germany. That would have gave me the max points here.

Wel, I went for 2 strange ones, but I couldn't resist temptation going for the last 2 questions properly. I doubt many will say what I said about fruit and ocean
But many should say this beautiful actress and even more the genius that was this book writer.

Well, I chose the 2nd best answer in all except the name an important club one. Thought more people would go for Mourinho/Spain.
