If yoou go purely onresults I'd give Farrar a 74.
Stats are based on results in the two last years so 74 would be way too low for someone who won a straight mass sprint in the tour de france. 78 sounds right for me.

A sprint where Cavendish was hindered by a crash however. Has to be noted.

Oh, I don't remember Cav crashing during the sprnt and using his flying powers to get over the line in the top 5.

It was a sharp turn were a lot of guys missed the turn, Cav was hindered by it.
So yeah, he beat R. Feillu and Rojas from those who were competing for the win. I agree with 78. Farrar doesn't seem as he's lost that much speed to explain his results, it just seems he can mess up something everytime...
Also I have done some testing since Alakagom is away and Luigi doesn't own PCM 12 I think, so it might be hard to do some testing, but I suggest that you optimize the stats to fit PCM 12, and what I mean by that is lowering the Resistance stats of all riders.
I have tested in career mode, various mountain stages, with the officialrelease, and PCM.daily and the officialrelease had much better gameplay on mountains.
In the Daily DB I had pelotons of 75+ riders, and it was impossible to attack 90% of the time.
With the officialrelease, I immediately noticed that I could break away from the main group thru attacking again, and I had regularly sized groups of 5-6 riders. I noticed this even more, the further I tested this theory.
Just a heads up.
The stats aren't fully to blame though, the latest patch did alter the gameplay a bit.

True that, there is a reason why it is changed in original database for this year, it seems important for riders ability to hang longer in the main group in mountains, but it is hard to tell what is done by resistance stat and actual changes in 1.2.0.0 patch as you mentioned...

We addressed that issue in one of the first posts in this thread.
Besides, as I've shown with my tests, the mountain gameplay is (also) screwed up in the Official DB, so before 'fixing' any stats, I'd first like to see whether the last patch (whenever it's released) changes anything in regard to the AI. It'd be quite annoying to make new stats for all riders only to find out that those changes are worthless because of patch changes.
Anyway, as said, I think Alakagom mentioned that in one of the first posts of this thread. Also, Luigi does own the game

It has not changed in the original database this year, the matrix for resistance has been the same in the Off Release since PCM09 at least
Less recovery - Greipel
More hill - Cavendish
79 SP - J.J.Rojas
78 SP - Farrar

Why more hill for Cav?
Why Cav is the biggest favorite in Olympics (x9 Box Hill)
