Where did you get that number from? I was going off this
I was using the site URL. Every post clocks a new number reference in the URL, and the number you use gives posts after deletions. Deleted posts still exist in the main network memory, but not in the post count on-site.

Oh god, don't turn this into a competition. Way back in the day, there used to be a counter on the lower left side of the page letting you know who had started the most threads and had the most posts over the course of the day. All the immature folks on the site (e.g., myself) thought it was worth making inane and unnecessary posts all day to lead the rankings at least once.
EDIT: And I think we should go off the official number, not the url. Deleted posts were deleted for a good reason. Or at least mine were...

So, I was in a crappy mood and thought I'd tidy around and throw stuff I don't need out, as kind of a distraction. And then doing so, I found a copy of the exam paper I was meant to do for tomorrow, that I'd done months ago, which means no work to do for the rest of the day. So in conclusion, cleaning = good mood. That's my lesson for the day
Cue bitching about the Oscars... Upsides, JK Simmons got Best Supporting Actor. Grand Budapest Hotel picked up 4 awards. Marvel got nothing. CitizenFour got Documentary.
I have just spent a long time searching through the forums, to find the 1 millionth post every posted on this forum, after all that searching, I was about to give up, I had found the 999,999,999th post and the 1,000,001th post, but not the 1,000,000th post, but I've finally got it:
Firstly, who had the honour of posting this important post?, it is none other than:
Spoiler
Luis Leon Sanchez

The post is relatively unimportant:

noticed it and remember it but because I thought that LLS would make a bigger deal out of it than it actually is, I decided not to mention it. was hoping that nobody else would care/bored enough to actually search it

The fact it took ~7 hours for anyone to comment on it shows how much we really care about 1millionth post.
Hooray i made the 1,025,783rd post, look at me i'm so special and amzaing!
Well that's not fair, because i am special and amazing Edited by TheManxMissile on 24-02-2015 18:24

EDIT: I just spent a while doing something, if you guys don't care, great, don't comment, but don't be negative about it.

That's cheating. It's like asking Willy Wonka where to find the golden ticket.

I may be mistaken, not being able to read tone through text, but you do actually seem upset about the reaction you've gotten. No one means anything by it, it's just some lighthearted ribbing. All of us really enjoy when folks do stuff like this, since it points to how much people care about the idea of the community. We just all want to give you shit to further that enjoyment. But if it does both you, try and vocalize that in a clear way and give people and opportunity to apologize.

You know, for all Obama has done poorly, he seems to become better as time goes by. Veto of the Keystone XL, pushing through Title II reclassification, and the proposal of the rewritten FLSA. Perhaps he is just a VERY slow learner?

Sorry if this is pointing out the obvious, but we have a lluuiiggii sighting! He is at least online and logged in!
24/02/21 - kandesbunzler said “I don't drink famous people."

People who know me despite having joined after my last login... it seems I'm more popular than expected. Well, the fact that I actually won an award (precisely for being unactive - that was unexpected) might have something to do with that
Anyway, yes, it's been a few months since I had last logged on. I browsed at some threads from time to time, but without logging in (some other member also said this once, maybe Waghlon? - perhaps it's more common than we think). But with a new cycling season coming up, it's definitely a good time to get back to following closer the news
Oh, and by the way - sorry baseballlover I indeed had the DB almost converted. But now I don't really know what still needs to be done, so I'll probably have to start over
And since I mentioned the awards - I just noticed that, despite doing nothing for the past few months, I have won more awards during this time than Jesleyh. It's almost as if he carries the Dutch World Cup curse into the PCMDaily Awards

I really thought Boyhood would get much more than just supporting actress. The sheer amount of effort and time surely deserved a director win.

Well, no matter what happens now, it's nice to have you back on the site.
