A TT on par for Beltran, which is good enough. 11th seems to be his spot in the GC, unless something spectacular either positive or negative happens on the final stage.
And what a TT that was from EBH, leaving him with a realistic shot at the overall win. Bobridge below par (again), while Bakelants also stays in touch for the final stage considering the GC. It should be between those three, and then another race for 4th.
Thank you for the reports, AbhishekLFC, and definitely looking forward for the final one. |

Whoa Konovalovas!
Prevar good enough to keep his place here, good stuff, potentially solid points in our fight against relegation... And now please now final stage crash again.

9th in GC is okay. Initially hoped for a 7th place which looks unlikly now but if I get another good stage result i can be happy with this race.
A Big Thank You To All MG Reporters!

After two rather mediocre stages for Gazelle I'd like some more Ginanni fireworks tomorrow.

I shouldn't be one to bitch about anything this season, but I don't remember a TT stage where the day's favourite wasn't worth a single mention.
A stage win would make this race worthwhile for us. Better look elsewhere for points I guess.

Sorry about that. Lost track of some riders at the start. Hopefully, my TT reports get better going ahead...

First (stage) win of the season very happy with that, now let's see what the last stage will bring us.

When your own team isn't riding, it is really nice to see such a thrilling ride.
I always wondered why all these TTers where here when the team didnt stand a chance at the opening TTT. An ITT after some hard stages will almost always favor the puncheurs.
Surprising to see Ignatiev at this level of performance, though. That must really suck.
Good luck everybody for that final stage.

the two strongest punchers in PCT obviously goes 1-2, when we score 0 points. Obviously
Gratz with the win though

Wow, what a race that turned out to be for Grieg and EBH! Congratulations, tastasol. Also vital for their campaign to promote, and Watson scoring some extra points for them with the youth classification. On that note, also a good race for Newton and TVG, who continues to deliver against tough opposition.
Consistency was key for EBH, but Ponzi saved the race for himself and his team with that final stage win. Congratulations, dev4ever!
That was also a brilliant final stage by Beltran, being another good performance. Those very difficult looking hilly stages were the reason we brought him to the team after last year's disappointment on similar profiles, and it's great to see him punch above his weight for a hilly stage.
Also thank you for the reports, AbhishekLFC |

At least we kept the team classification
Down to 5th, 2nd in pts. Not happy at all especially seeing how bobridge almost passed Jan. Total fuck up for us, imo.
Gratz to Grieg, well done

As a very selfish kinda guy, I appreciate the fact that the PCT teams take 1-2 in the GC in the races I'm not participating in.
In the end Peter Sagan got away with a result similar to what Bryan Coquard did in Tour d'Afrique, so I can't complain with that. Still good points in the fight for the win.
Congrats also to ember for a good final kick by Beltran. He will be great in the future with a bit of training.

If only Bobridge hadn't messed up his GC chances before. To come away without a stage-win, a failed sponsor goal as 6th in the GC and only one stage Podium for the entire team.. is way too less! The TTT already gave a preview of what would follow. Well.. 6th is better than 7th, so I guess this final stage has to be considered a success. But close behind 5th makes it again frustrating in a way.
Congrats to all winners and thanks for the quality reports! I know I have been complaining all the way, but ofc I appreciate the effort behind the reports

Awesome result for us, with PCT teams taking the top spots followed by less dangerous PT teams, and with former riders Rolland and Le Gac this prominent. Congrats Euskaltel on the KoM jersey!
Up front, a really exciting race to follow with great reports to do the racing justice. Thanks for those!

A successful end of the race for the Euskaltel team. Le Gac was quality once again getting in the breakaway and ensuring a KOM win along with a few points from his decent finish in the Youth Classification. Zingle showing his quality in the final stage with 6th place and a pretty good 13th in the GC.
Given that Cornu crashed out and Caruso had a nightmare, I'll take it.

As ember said, consistency certainly was the key for EBH here. His first podium in the race, and a perfect timing for it. Super happy about that win, and really thrilled to see Watson having a great race as well and winning the youth classification.
As one of only two stage races for EBH, this really was a cruical race for our promotion hopes, so very glad he could deliver in such a good way. A great race from TJ as well. The level he keeps performing on is just great, congrats on the podium.
Glad for our Norwegian friends in PT also. Ponzi rescuing the race in great style for dev, and Beltran is starting to look like a great rider for Aker.
Also a big thanks for all the reports, Abhishek. Great quality and fantastic pace all the way

What the hell was up with Zingle this race? Great race for Euskaltel, congrats on the well deserved stage winner too. Shame for Bakelants.
Awful stage for us. Mugerli showing some presence, but Mohoric lacking agressiveness to find the one missing second, and with Navardauskas on an awful day slipping from 16th to 36th we lost all the possible points there.

Well, I thought top 30 would be the minimum here and we got just that, so yeah. A 79 hill riders losing over 15 minutes is something we need to work on though. Umerbekov the brave again, but I would've prefered Cerny to do something instead.
Thanks for the reports, let's hope we won't have to ride PTHC for a while now
Changed my sig, this was getting absurd.

Very mixed feelings about the race. Time trialists absolutely killed it, Ulissi 100% flunked, meanwhile some direct opponents for promotion went 1-2 in the GC
Onwards. Thanks Abhishek and congrats anyone that is satisfied about this.

Gotta love PCT riders finishing 1-2, even though EBH got the best of TVG. What an exciting race this was and our hopes of promotion are slowly turning into aspirations to win the division with results like this.
Thanks for the reports!
