Excellent result by Betancourt. The best of the rest behind the two monsters. I hope it means this year will be again a successful season.
Thanks Roturn for the reports!

Good effort from my guys in America with Anacona finishing 14th and Sarabia finishing the the big peloton as well. What happened to Colex though? He was in the break but didn't even finish the race...
Thanks for some good reports so far.

Amazing result by De Maar here... Also I hope that Phinney isn't going to ride that many hilly races if this is the level he can perform on

I wouldn`t be too afraid to be honest.
I doubt that Phinney will be in such a dominant team in any hilly classic this season. Probably any of those US riders, who had attacked first, would have won it as other teams were too weak to chase them down. |

Ugh. 2nd is cool but it doesn't get you a jersey. TVG is too nice and put the team before himself. Hopefully he gets more aggressive for the finale.

If De Maar can do that against the elites...

Wow, that's a very nice and surprising win! Hope he will perform at the same level in other hill stages this year.

Good stuff from Kelderman there tagging onto LLS and VDHH to make sure they know what to expect when the racing for points begins.
I'm slightly worried about the peloton stopping bug that seems pretty prevalent throughout these races as it might make my climber and puncheur depth rather irrelevant, but maybe it'll be the other way round and it'll enable Felline, Demare and Arndt to use their sprint stats even better.

Excellent from Jan, hopefully the start of a winning season.
Maybe then I'll release his family...

Brilliant to have these races! Chapeau to those organizing and reporting.
Some interesting results as well, especially Phinney's win margin in the TT was surprisingly small, if he can't manage to take more time on his rivals on similar TTs in the season, his defence of potential leader's jersey in the mountains will be a lot harder than usual. Though, seeing Amador compared to Úran and Bookwalter, you could argue it was more a case of a huge day for the Costa Rican.
For the European races, it's nice to see Stake Laengen do a good time trial, after all he's our best time trialist by quite a bit. Hopefully the road race was a sign of what's to come, with the Norwegian kids being strong enough to control a tough race. Then it will be up to Boasson Hagen to try to get the better of Bakelants, Trofimov and the other captains in the final kilometers. |

Nice to see Stachowiak in the break, hopefully he can join a few during the season.

Cool racing, congrats to all the winners and especially Bakelandts, who confirmed the role of the favourite. Nice podium by Trofimov, i hope Ignatiev was a nice help during the race. Not the best race from Metinvest riders, but that is the 2015 hilly reality for us.
Riders not caring about minor placings are the biggest well known problem of recent PCM, i wonder why is still anybody surprised when that is the trademark of shit PCM AI.

Hoped for slightly better from Tennant in the TT but it'll have to do against the top Elite. Great reports all the way, some very nice action.

Well, that was a rather strange race
Shame that the Norwegian missed out on the title. On the other side I'm happy with Meyer's sprint. Can't really say anything more than that because of the strange race behind the best.

Indeed a strange race. Can't really say, what's the reason for the whole bunch sitting up except of 5 riders. Hoping it's just because PCM can't handel too overpowered teams
