Considering how this race has gone in general, this was a good stage for us. Bochman showing some life in his final season and proving I had at least some reason to resign him. And Mygind stayed with it. Looks like he'll actually get us some points here with 8th, as pathetic as that is.
Edit: On a final note, I'm hoping Razzie can do something in the final stage.

Definitely not the worst stage both attacking and points wise, but I know we could've gotten so much more out of this. If the break wouldn't be caught then Weiss had a great chance to win as he has proven in the past and what he was brought in for. Kinney attacking was nice but it also brought the break pack. And he attacked so much he couldn't challenge for victory in the end. Still I'll happily take sixth on the stage and two riders in the top ten in the GC.

Good that Navardauskas moved up a spot in GC. Hopefully Bazzana can keep the KoM jersey that'd mean this is a good race for us points wise.

Cobbles in stage race is roll the dice. Anyone who has played PCM GT with cobbles will know AL has no idea. In general you know real life cobbles is not quite as easy to represent with one stat as perhaps other qualities.
In retrospect the Klemme move was a poor one, but I would have done it, not that this is any sign of quality. Going to be interesting when first C2 rankings come out with this cluster added.
A nasty race to report in some ways as difficult to report everything.

Like Trump, we continue to find a way to get some TV time- but aside from one top 10, we have done nothing else.
Maybe the predictions were true...

Oh I expected a similar result but didn't think it would be this close for Schuh! Still a great race for them for sure, no way they could have imagined Konwa taking a podium in what I identify the CT version of TONE.
Gratz sammy, great reports throughout trek.

Should've chosen Top 5 as my goal instead of the stage win. Van der Haar is doing well

Klemme abandons his Park keeping duties and gets a 4th place on the stage and 12th in GC.
So the gamble didn't pay off but no regrets as I would always have wondered what if?

Wow, Hugentobler's had a great start to his season, 4th at Cristobal, 3rd on a stage here, then 2nd on the following stage, gaining him the GC lead and the Youth Jersey lead, which if he keeps, which he should do from here, will likely see him very high up the individual rankings which is brilliant considering he is 75hill, so some way down on Klemme and Dowsett.
I really didn't expect anything like this from him, especially not at the start of the season and it's all the better for him to be a homegrown rider signed as a level 1 rider in our first season. And not just that but it's the first confirmation of our long term plan when we joined the game as he's got our first big results from a level 1 to maxed rider.
This is definitely worth relegating last year and worth having such a bad season after refusing to sign leaders from other nations that might have had a chance to save us.
I'm posting this now instead of waiting until after the final stage as I'm going away for a week early tomorrow morning so won't be able to post it for a while otherwise and wanted to do so whilst the race and his result is still fresh.

Wow Hugentobler, congratulations sammy! It's been a strange race so far though.
