Had hopes for a better performance from Watson, but at least some top 10s. Wouldn't be worried about Docker just yet bbl, confident that he will be turn out good.

Yay, first time ever we participate in sprints and immediately we gain an overall victory. Have to admit the last stage scared the crap out of me. Damn you tsmoha for creating such tension

Thanks for the reports tsmoha, good to see racing underway in 2016!
Last season we did well here and had an awful season. This year we were awful here, so... |

Yeah, you're right tsmoha, I mixed it up. Lane was in the break of the last stage the last three years (in 2014 it was Geelong, Eastern Park).
Happy to seeing him enjoying his time at home, we'll pick him up on our way to the Down Under races the near future.
Thanks for kicking-off the racing for another season tsmoha and gratz to the Drapac guy(s)!

I'm convinced Docker was not in this race. I see his name in the results but without evidence I refuse to acknowledge that he was there.

I've been relatively impressed with Michael Torckler- 11th and 19th on two pan-flat stages is decent.

Salleh did well getting another podium, and the overall podium, it's a shame he couldn't quite get a win, especially as he had the strongest train. But as 2/3 of the dominant Malaysian train is ours and Manan won't necessarily be the final leadout when Anuawar swaps out for Awang so I'm hoping we can still get great leadouts for Salleh.

Strange how quiet Docker have been, after finishing second with an almost identical team last year. Have to go with bbl's theory, he must have been replaced by a clone
After being so good the first the three editions, it's of course a let down to be so far off the pace this time around. But we'll be back next year, with some even stronger aussies!
Another evenly contested sprint, congrats to Drapac on sealing the overall win at the end. Some very good racing! Thanks for all the reports, tsmoha

Sadly nothing too impressive by Bevin or Dunne here, but at least a breakaway attempt by the latter on the one stage where it might have succeeded.
I remember Drapac being the worst rider besides Kaggestad in old PCMs (probably only in a team because of family ties?), so this is a pretty funny win, congrats.
Thanks tsmoha for again starting off the season in style!

Good from Clarkey in this stage and overall, but Scully invisible again.

Thanks tsmoha, with the crosswinds, good-looking attacks & contested finishes there was some good racing in this mini-stage race to whet the appetite for the real season.
What a showing from Will Ford on stage 3, please be a taster for when he races for Flores! |

Really strong racing from Chen, very promising start to the season. Obviously he will be blown away by top class sprinters but hopeful he can provide a lead out or two and even some competative results in PCT fields.
