Why can't we ever join a breakaway like this? Show yourselves, I'm paying you all...

Not sure what the report means as Mandri finshes in the group after puncturing I'm guessing that's how the report meant?
Otherwise Bellis was useless yesterday and not getting in these break is not on really after that hopefully the super long stage will suit him. |

Yes jt, that's what happened. He lost about 2min with the puncture, and didn't manage to join the pack in a matter of 10km or so, so I deduced he didn't reach the peloton: He must have done so in the last ascent. Sorry for that.

No breaks. Becerra up into the top 35 and finished top 20 on the stage. Not that shit. |

Tough to see our top 5 goal slowly going down the drain. It's still within reach, though hard to believe Di Maggio regains his strength.
Last stage will suit us better, hope for a Marcel Wyss breakaway attempt for the stage win.

AMEX-Navigon has a successful day with Oliver LaGac picking of a 2nd place out of the breakaway.
Mehr-Wenige and Boswell are still in scoring range and hopefully on the tougher stages that can move up a few places. LeGac needs to gather himself and han in for a season best GC finish.

There was a mix up when fixing the stages, so Stage 4 ended up being played with an uphill finish profile rather than the one in the thread. (Report did get posted for around 15 minutes earlier, so some of you will haveseen it)
It favours the hill stat entirely, despite it's mountainous look.
Does anybody have any objections about this stage being used, rather than the original Stage 4?

Being selfish, I would have preferred the original stage as the downhill finish probably suited Ben Nasser with his sprint better than the other big leaders here.
Don't mind if the stage is used though if it's too much work, as Gustavovisky has been really good stepping in here and it would be a shame for more reports to go to waste. |

No problems though not really involved in the GC hunt so may be best for those who are to decide. |

Had some hopes that Reimer could hang on and sprint well on the downhill finish, but no big deal for me. |

No objections.
From the report it sounded as if a downhill finish would've helped Di Maggio to avoid fading, but this could've gone both ways...
Great reports by Gustav and tsmoha they shouldn't be tortured.

The downhill probably suited Meyer better, but no objections here.

Macca, very nice "win" there, good stuff. And half a minute to the yellow jersey isn't that much.....

Damn, would really liked to be in the break-away on this stage and it seems like landa is back to his normal level again(mediocre at best). No objections from me neither obv. Don't think it would have changed much anyway
