Since Ireland is definitely happening tomorrow, I decided to make it the first MG NC bet - you have until early tomorrow morning to bid. https://pcmdaily.com/odds_mg.php?game_...game_id=18
Jph has provided me odds for 10 of the biggest races, which will make their way on there soon too.

Incidentally 'Another Rider' for Ireland consists of Paidi O'Brien, Connor Dunne and Ciaran Kelly.

Ah, Torres!
One of the most surprising riders this season. Happy to see him get the win. |

Crap, Bekmanis twice 2nd. Even though he's technically not mine I'd have liked to see him win in the TomTom jersey.

The best of the Nationals so far in Latvia, close TT and nice road race with nearly half the field in the break and a tight finish.
Building up to the big ones

knockout though won`t like the RR a lot. In especially with his bigger Latvian focus in future. |

In deed. That's why I thought it could be a good evening-race after the many posted earlier. Always nice when it feels like there's actually some competition and not just a parade-race.

I can post the Austrian NC's now if people want? If not it can be saved for another day.
Nice win for Metinvest there in Latvia, congrats to Avin. Good competitive finish there as well. |

I think last season we had a max of 5 Nationals per day.
So eventually wait for tomorrow.
Not sure if we stay the same though. |

Apologies about the Brazilian NC The Rider, it feels like it should belong at Bonsucro rather than at Alpina but it's the AI's fault
Nevertheless two NCs already and we have good chances in Bolivia, Chile and Cuba (not so sure about Forero's chances on the mountainous course in Colombia though )

A bit of a pity to not see Alarcon and Rujano go head to head, but admittedly it was as expected. As others of you have said, the Latvian RR the highlight of the evening with some decent racing in the breakaway/first peloton
Congratulations to the winners and thanks to the reporters. Lovely to have lots of them out already. |

Yeah. Bekmanis twice so close
Propably I do not have a chance other than targetting Liepins now.

Thanks for the betting options, some of them tempted me to put some (small) bets on the table, but also thought about buying (MG) lottery tickets instead! . Some just too risky too even consider laying a hypothetical $!
Good to see Mobil get a home winner in the Venezuela RR, and I assume guarantees Torres another contract. He could be decent in CT, but likely needs the right team-mates and race planning, otherwise his stats are pretty similar to e.g. Alpina's two climbers who really struggled this season bar the occassional good showing, particualrly if you look for him to be bringing home a large points haul. Ochoa-Quintero with a funny race in terms of giving everybody a massive head-start - also did this on one of the key Tour of Utah stages sitting in the peloton while the favourites all disappeared up the road, and again pulled back massive amounts on the front runners on the final mountain; odd tactics. Saying all the above, shame not to see a battle of the heavy-weights; would have been a great showing Alarcon vs. Rujano.
Again, nice to see other home-based or significant-interest nations bringing taking home jerseys in some of the other races from today and hopefully going forward.
Finally, the start attraction race in Latvia today at least produced some decent racing. Our stagiaire Becis made a good-fist of things in the RR, unlucky to miss out on the podium given 4 riders up front, but hey ho. Unfortunatley for him, more than likely we will release Becis int FA after just two outings for Nutresa. His stats are not very impressive to start with, and upside is fairly limited - e.g. I can see it being hard finding a PT team willing to take him in the distant future when he does rach lvl 4.0 xp. At least he can say he made it into 2 BoTD from 2 starts! Perhaps a CT team will take pity on him and provide a berth.
Look forward to more NC racing tomorrow.

Nice to see the real racing already started and gratz to the first winners.
Hope to wear the Swiss Champions jersey next season, but the mountainous route is the last of our choice... luckily it'll most likely be a gamble anyway.

Very funny to watch the Irish Road Race, PCM AI is really bad in national champs.

Nice race in Latvia and what a win from our stagiare Liepins, it seems that our scouts were right and there is something in this guy.
Congrats to the other winners! That double win in Ireland for Pendletons guys is awesome, it seems that NCs are even more fucked up with PCM13 AI than with earlier editions.

Nice to have Roche 2nd in TT. Honestly, I don' t mind he didn't win, as our jersey is already green enough, it wouldn't be easy to implement more green there
RR awful as expected. Thanks to all reporters for their effort, it must be annoying and boring to make reports from this shit. Thanks again!
