Not the biggest race on the calendar but already going into its 7th edition actually. Soem big names such as Boasson Hagen, Alarcon, Keizer or Pozzovivo on the winner list. This year though it`s unlikely to be a climber. It`s a course for the puncheurs and possibly the time trialists as well as the hilly stages are not the hardest. It needs a powerful attack or great team work to get rid of weaker puncheurs. For those kind of moves a couple of CT top puncheurs are here to go for the GC:
This should be an interesting race. Hopefully Rabon can pick up time in the first two stages and then limit his loss to riders like Durasek in the TT. Rabon will need to perform well here, and with 3 out of 5 stages suiting him he might just end up where we need him to end up.
Also hoping for Serebriakov to win stage 1, given the field it shouldn't be impossible at all
This can be the first time of the year we can realistically win a stage race. I am looking at you, Boaro and Rolland. 35 kms of tt is long enough I hope! Goodi didn't take any sprinters, at least i cant be more disappointed!
Thanks roturn
Race 2/10 for our final sprint towards promotion. First one was ok thanks to Rosa, here we aim for Pelucchi to get a few good results, while the rest of the guys should attack like there's no tomorrow!
If Durasek limits his losses in the hills to the favorites, then he can win the race from the TT. Nonetheless we have a win goal here and honestly I will be glad with Top 5
Though it would also be kinda cruel to win 3 stage race GC's in a row Now don't jinx it
Interesting race and hopefully we can increase our points from here. Thanks for reporting this race roturn
We've got Zeits or Sinkewitz to win normally, Der to win from the TT and Stachowiak to win from a break, yet there is absolutely no way we can win.
Goal top 5, picked over Hanko where I believe we did get a top 5 and this will be a massive race for our automatic promotion chances so I'll be on the edge of my seat the whole race.

What do you mean? You can't really use that line anymore since you won the GC in Poland!
Anway, this looks a race for the TT specialists who can handles the hills. Those hilly stages aren't hard enough-looking to destroy the race, so I expect the likes of Rolland to take the GC.
I don't really know what to make of my team, we've got a lot of guys in there that could sneak into the top ten and even top 5 depending on the racing. I don't think the hilly stages will cause much of a selection if any at all, and we're well equipped with that as Kruopis and Uchima are the two best guys over hills who can sprint that I see. Kruopis is also a half decent TT-er and can definitely cause a surprise. Durasek and De Maar as well as Rolland are the guys to win I think.
De Maar has to be more aggressive here than he has been lately. If he can do that, he should be able to take some time in the TT and maybe snag a top 10. Though a stage win would be our real goal here.

We have big hopes for this race in Slovenia. Top 3 in every stage, and top 5 GC is our goal here, but we all know that won't happen
I think the race is quite open actually. The long TT will definately shake things up, really looking forward to these stages. Thank you for the review roturn!
Decided to go all in in support of Pökälä here due to the TT and the hills not being that hard or at the stage finishes. Really hope he will be able to pay back for the confidence.
Setting the team I gave Westling a decent train but I expect he will decide not to sprint anyway...
Favilli showing that he is on the good side in this race by contesting the sprint at least. But he comes nowhere close to any good result. So, I hope that the hilly stages will be ridden easy and a stage win is within grabs for Strava here. Maybe also 1,2 breakaways in the later days.
