Isle of Man ITT
Time for the 7th edition of this ITT on Isle of Man.
The previous 6 editions have seen 6 different winners, but this year Cornu is back hoping to be the first to bag two wins in this one.
Previous Podiums | Win | 2nd | 3rd | 2014 | Michael Rogers | Ignatiev | Nepomnyachsniy | 2013 | David Zabriskie | Rogers | Stannard | 2012 | Gustav Larsson | Ignatiev | Reus | 2011 | Mikhail Ignatiev | Taaramäe | Stannard | 2010 | Dominique Cornu | Donald | Ignatiev | 2009 | Ben Day | Wiggins | Palacios |
The hill at the end favours TT'ers capable of handling hills, putting the home fans big hope Ian Stannard at a slight disadvantage. 2 previous podiums from him proves that he is capable of putting in a good ride though.
For this one it looks like the podium could very well be a battle between Fiedler, Cornu and Keizer with the last two being better on the hill but not quite as strong on the flat stretch at the start.

The win is the main objective in this race unfortunately we all know that in this pcm anything can happen in a TT, so I'm waiting for a big failure by Fiedler.
Martijn Keizer for the win

Keizer please fighting for the win and at least podium.
Schädlich at least top10.
Boom in top10 possible. Top15 minimum.
Expect quite a lot of points from my trio here and please don`t disappoint me in this TT event. |

Big question is how big of an impact the hill will have. Remembering the hilly ITT in Romandie, I fear that it will be great. Steensen should fit good here. Hopefully he/Dempster can grab a good result.

Can't call this one! If Keizer takes the win or podium, he probably goes into the lead in the individ. rankings (if he isn't there already) - he hasn't faultered in the mountains but what about against the clock?
For Contador's sake --- Go Stannard! |

Some top 20's and a top 10 will do fine
My pick is probably an outside win by Lars Boom |

The recent results showed me that I'll be better of if I set the bar low, like very low. So I'll be happy with a top 50 and all riders within the time limit. |

Bookwalter should be capable of a top 5 on a good day, and I'm hopeful of another surprise performance from Bodnar. Both should be on good form after the Monterrey TTT podium so I hope they can bring in some points. |

Hard to predict. Both Koren and Kangert should have a shot at a decent result.

Stannard has little hope here, Dennis and Kono can each get a good result though
John St Ledger in Team Bunzl-Centrica and Team U25
Red Bull Driver in RFactor

Expecting Keizer to win after showing great form recently. Fiedler will miss out on the win and finish second again.
Hoping for a top ten by brajko here. His great support stats should help him alot. Salas completly opposite. Top 15 would be huge by the spaniard.

Hoped in a weaker field when I signed up but can't complain all in all.
Well Girardi, Boaro and Rolland all 3 could fight for a top 10 seeing most of the ttists have less than 70 hill. I'm really hoping mountain counts a bit though so that Girardi and Rolland have a bigger chance.
Btw, downhill doesn't count for shit in tts
Thanks a bunch for the preview Atlantius!

The hilly was playing quite some role as expected.
So Keizer as 3rd did okay even though I had hoped to beat Koren here. At least podium.
Boom on that course a bit underperformed then behind Aramendia. 8th still a very good result of course.
Schädlich as 13th on a hilly TT is good.
In the end podium, another top10 and a top15 is exactly what I wanted and while it was always the lower end, I am happy with the race.
Gazelle though also performed very well here scoring more points I guess.
Congrats to RBC. Nice win for Reus and thanks for the report! Was a bit afraid at the first two checkpoints as Fiedler came very close. |

Grr we were destroyed. Expected more or less 14th to be fair but it's definitely not carrying us a lot of points.
Rolland was worse than expected and Boaro exactly on par with my expectations... Girardi on the other hand was shit.
@Atlantius, Giacoppo is not italian but Australian
Thanks for the report btw

Koren
He's slowly becoming annoying with all his great results, that he hardly achieved for us last year (He did well for Oz, yes. But not as great as he's this year)
Reus with a remarkable result here. Congrats on that win.

Utter shit, that... That Steensen, who is decent in the hills, were the worst of our riders, are a bit frustrating, to be honest. Seems like TT's are just extremly random this season, especially looking at a rider like Cornu here.

Expected better than that from Bookwalter really, top-10 was the bare minimum and he just managed that but going into the hill I thought he would be capable of more.
Congrats RBC and Reus on the win. |

Awesome job by both Koren and Kangert! Very pleased with this result.
Koren is a machine.
