Pretty simple. Which game do you think are the best game in the PCM-serie?
I will leave the CYM-games out because a lot havn't played does games.

I think it is pretty close between 11 & 12, but I always like to go with the newest version.. Newer is better for me.. at least when the final version comes out!

I would agree '06 was the best until '10 came out.. then every newer version has improved. I was thinking gameplay and career wise. Database wise maybe '06, and online wise, definitely '11!

ive only had 10,11 and 12
10 was bugged to hell so thats out
11 is awsome and ive gone back to it (3stories at omce shows that)
12 has too many minor issues wich add up to many big issues, however some new additions and after the final patch it could be the best, it just needs time

How does 12 get votes. It's as buggy as '10, the Gui is crap and there is no real online.

PCM 11 is not by far the best. I dont know how far back peoples PCM careers go, but for me, PCM 08 and 06 were the most fun! PCM 06 was very good in all aspects really and the Giant just made it amazing. PCM 08 I found the most fun, you could attack on climbs, sprint, hilly stages, everything went well. There were a few good db's too.
For me PCM 11 isn't as great, because 1 you cant attack uphill and the solid rider model while good on sprints, is really fucking annoying everywhere else. You're on a climb 3rd from the front in the peloton and then you catch the break and pushes your guy down to 50th position. Meanwhile all the favourites somehow attack and get through everything and they are as good as gone, you wont be seeing them again.
I honestly find PCM 11 quite over-rated! I enjoyed PCM 10 more than I did 11 just because there you could at least attack everywhere but mountains, but in 11 after the break has formed its pretty hard to get away.
For me, in a years time PCM 12 will be the best, at least I believe.

Pcm 12 winning so much? It shows how many people voting actually played the older ones. 
I voted for PCM 08, i have same oppinions as Valverde about it. Very good gameplay all around and i played hundreds of hours. And back than i still believed Cyanide will try to make the game better.
And as i am not interested much in online baits or super graphics, Pcm 10, 11 and 12 were disapointments, but 11 was not so bad after all the patches and with good database.

PCM06 is still the best game imo, the bugs where there but did not kill the gameplay. And as one said you could do anything in a race and one very sad thing is the fact that the management part of the top game, have'nt changed that much sinced 06.
Also we had varrients in the game, but around 09 or was it 10. They went for better graphics, and that killed not only the varrients, but also killed the game.
You can all say, that i should just get a db for it. But really, why should the fans of the game do something that makes the game better. From what it seems this game is not a manager game anymore like it was with 06, now this is just a fifa game with cycling instead of football.
The world needs more people like Joaquim RodrÃguez

Voted for PCM 08, very much what valverde said. You could attack on every terrain, the gameplay is good and with the Daily DB 09 it made the game awesome for me. |

I'd say PCM06 or even go as long as saying PCM05. 05 was my first pcm game ever, and i still remember it as a great game.
But in my opinion the 06 has been the best since it founded the whole base of what the game is now, and change hasn't really come yet.
Only change is seen in the graphics which i couldn't play without now, so 08 and 11 also brought some great development. But since it's a manager game, Pcm06 was the best game i think

Totally agree with Valverde321. For me, the best game is the game with the best AI. The manager part havn't chance very much for the past 6 years. Very disappointing actually. |

being able to attack anywhere doesnt have much to do with AI, rather its more the game mechanics
tbh i've never found any issues attacking on the flat, cobbles or hills in 11, only mountains obviously.
How has 12 got sooooo many votes when everyone was complaining when it first came out, and is still bugged to hell.
Can someone please argue their choice or pcm12?

I think those who voted for 12, are people without arguments, maybe majority of them a new players to the series...

It's close between PCM09 and PCM06 for me. For some reason I didn't find PCM08 to be that good, but PCM09 was great. It was the last PCM where you could properly attack in the mountains after all.
