Last chance for the climbers. Last stage that should cause havoc on road and in GC. But will Wiggins and Froome crack is the question ? Will others put pressure early on to crack Sky ?

Roche will get top 10 as Pinot doesn't like the Pyrenees. An to answer your questions:
1. No
2. They have for the last week. it doesn't work.

I'd like to see Froome attack on the Port de Bales alongside Nibali and someone like Rolland or Roche. Doubt it will happen, but it would be great to watch and surely make Wiggins have to earn the overall. Evans will lose even more time regardless, Voeckler may move up another few places. Oh, and Pinot to take white away from TJVG and hopefully hold it until Paris. |

Good luck with that. He has to gain 4 minutes and then not lose any time in the time trial.
Pinot and Van Garderen is gonna be some showdown in their primes. Besides, Pinot is how old? He will take white and yellow at some point.

His 21. 4 years still for him to conquer white and apart from Tejay, there's not much competition out there to fight with him. |

Well... last chance. There's only one way - Lotto and Liquigas (like together) should create mountain train with Vanendert, Basso and maybe Szmyd to isolate Wiggins and Froome. |

Tyler Farrar v Jimmy Engoulvent show down for the Lanterne Rouge...
Looking at the results, Menchov confirmed my belief he's on big decline. I am disappointed in the Omega Pharma Quickstep GC riders ( Velits, Levi, De Weert ). I didn't expect great show from them, but none of them produced anything really in terms of GC. And that seeing their team was focused on good GC here, quite a shame.

They will fight for it again next year. And I think Pinot will take it then as it looks like he has a huge margin for progression.

De Weert worked for Leipheimer.

Especially as Brailsford expressed kind words about Pinot He's on contract with FDJ after this year, but I believe Sky will want to sign Pinot to join their team in 2013 for the season of 2014.

Screw them. If Pinot, the most promising young rider goes to that powerhouse, I' will never watch cycling again. And why would he go?

Well, a good thing is that Nibali isn't battling only against Wiggins. If it was like that, he'd perhaps give up after today, and not try anything tomorrow, but he's also in a battle against Froome for 2nd place. In the end I'd just like that Froome rebelled against Sky and went for his own TdF chances. Up the pace in Port de Bales, attack with some kms left together with Nibali, Van Den Broeck and one or other and completely crack Wiggins, who loses 9 minutes and eventually finishes 6th after regaining time in the TT. Wouldn't it be a much bigger 'propaganda' to tell the story of the British boy who had bilharzia parasites, but overcame it and won the hardest sportive event on the world?
And that's when I usually wake up

Money. Better training methods ( not trying to relate this to drugs ) Money. Best Team in the cycling right now - offers many opportunities. Good progress for him. Money again
I feel many French riders wasted their talent by staying with their French teams for too long. International teams add a lot and team like Sky, or any other should progress Pinot's talents even further.

But woth FDJ everything would be him. Sky already have Wiggins, Froome, Uran, Henao, Porte, rogers, Lofkvist... He wouldn't get any oppurtunities.
Edit to your edit: He won't develope his talents in a mountain train.

If Nibali is to win the yellow jersey he needs to beat Wiggins in this stage by at least 6 minutes. Not going to happen |

You're forgetting this trasnfer will happen in 2013 and he will ( maybe ) ride for Sky in 2014 only.
Rogers might retire or leave the team this year even. Lofkvist will definitely leave the team this year. Wiggins might retire next year, got his Tour win and now will try and let Froome win it. Uran also is possibility to leave the team this year. I.e a lot will change by 2014.
