Abdul Halil again up the front with 1km to go, and then vanishes to 48th place. What the fuck?

Thank you for your great reports and all the work these three weeks, UU!
Also big congratulations to knockout on the expected GC win, but it still has to be done, and PHL was very convincing.
Sensational Giro for us with three riders scoring just more than 150 points. We hoped for breakaway appearances from Amezawa and maybe a KoM fight for him. We got that, but then we got stage wins from Dainese and Van Poucke on top of that. Very happy with how it played out for us. |

Another top 10 to finish it off. It might just be the GT with most top 10s for us, bar the year with Phinney? At least the second half of it. Happy with how the race went for us and scoring it ended up quite nicely, considering the line up.
Congrats on the win, knockout, and congrats to all others who did well.
Also a big, big thanks to Ulrich for all the great reports!

I asked him not to score too many points so you can easily renew his contract
But indeed strange to see it happen, not for the first time from him in this Giro. I suppose it has something to do with flat/physical stats.
Congratulations to roturn on the final stage win, and to knockout on winning this Giro! Thanks to the great stage win from Kelderman we are not the red lantern of our first GT. One where we definitely had some higher hopes, but that stage win will forever be remembered.
One final big thank you to Ulrich for 21 superb and passional reports that were a treat to read from beginning to the end.

As the others pointed out, it was a very nice read all along this Giro, even without being in it. Thank you very much Ulrich.
And yeah, crushing victory for PHL - congrats knockout - with some help from Isostar as well. |

If I had to pick any team to support it would be Evonik, so happy for their successful Giro. Also congrats to Bikex, cio, Oleg and the other big3 sprinters for their great tours! Was a fun ride, also due to the awesome coverage!

Not sure how to feel about Grosu's Giro. By this season's standards, it was pretty great, but I feel like some opportunities were left on the road.
Then again, in terms of points it looks pretty good. Too bad no one else did anything notable in our team.
Thanks for the reports, UU, and congrats to knockout!

Stage 20 was a real killer for us, with Almeida dropp8ng 5 positions in the GC. Undeserved after all he did, but such is the Man-Game and cycling. Pretty decent performance from him anyway. Too bad we brought a team of hilly sprinters who did very close to nothing. Especially Van Stayen who almost has more race days than points.
Awesome Giro throughout though. Loved the reports. Lecuisinier's poise, Oomen's flair, Smith's crazyness and the battles for the jerseys. Congrats everyone and thanks again Ulrich for giving life to this beautiful event!

Thanks for the report Ulrich! Always fun to follow as a neutral.
Lecuisinier did what he was asked to do, as he should. You always want more points when you send someone as strong as him, but in the end Evonik now gets a Giro victory. TDF is next on their menu!

A bit late, but a big congrats to Lecuisinier and knockout for completing the task of winning all three Grand Tours. To top that, Lecuisinier has also won the U25 competition of all 3 Grand Tours. Can anyone match that? Cunego, Herklotz, Phinney?

First of all; amazing reporting. Great job Ulrich!
We had a relatively anonymous Giro, but there were some highlights for sure:
1) That Team Classification battle with King Power was awesome. Very strong team performance to grab the lead in the penultimate mountain stage. But equally impressive response by King Power in the last one. Deserved winners; congrats.
2) Karnulin had many good stages and 13th in GC is a solid job by him. Vervaeke, Sosnitskiy and Figueiredo also didn't disappoint.
3) Cool to see both Geoghegan Hart and Powless have a good and active Giro.
And of course congrats to knockout for the overall win

First of all, thank you for a great race coverage. Awesome report after awesome report, was always a joy to read them. Thanks!
Then thanks for all the congrats along the way and at the end of the race!
Finally, thanks to Isostar so that i could enjoy at least some stage success
I'm very happy with the race outcome. Sure, it can always be better but we got the win that i wanted so strongly and while the scoring could have been more dominant if we would have been able to control breaks better, we got some stage wins and a lot of days in pink. I always said priority this year is the GC victory to check this race off my list and rankings implications are a bit secondary.
A Big Thank You To All MG Reporters!

Although the 10 seconds between Bernal and Sivakov is unfortunate, a podium place at a Grand Tour is way above mine expectations. Thanks for the ride Ulrich Ulriksen!
