That schedule sounds good to me! Quick question, the minimum number of riders for a CT team is 18, am I allowed to have more?

Yeah, CT teams can have more than 18. I can't remember the limit for CT, but in the WT I know you can have up to 30 riders if you want to.
Note: I think I saw Sagan listed as the ITT world champ in the DB posted recently, when it should just be Dumoulin (just saying)

I don't think there is a maximum. Not sure though
@OZrocker: That's because he gets a special jersey in the road races and time trials as he won the World Cup. U23 WC is also marked. It's not ideally solved but I was too lazy to come up with another way to mark that. |

I have posted the first transfer update. Please discuss in this thread. https://pcmdaily.com/forum/viewthread...st_1380159
As all of my formulas are new, there might be some issues, although I hope not. In case you notice something with your bids that could be wrong let me know!
The FA table has to be copied including the first row with the "x"
Watch out when you place new bids. If you want to make a bid for an FA that has already bids on him, offer more than the current leading offer. Else you won't be considered, even though the transfer sheet doesn't know that.
I also will include an updated DB in each Transfer update. The link for that won't change. You can also see in there on which riders there are already bids, it will say "In Negotiations" in the team column.
Day 1 started now and will go until Sunday night! |

I wasn't exactly sure where to put the transfer update best, hope you are not confused with all the threads.
You are also allowed to post deals now! |

Just to recap, there are no FA signings yet but we do have an indication if we're leading or need to bid more by the next deadline?
Changed my sig, this was getting absurd.

That's right, you get a nice overview in the FA Overview tab whether you are leading or have been outbid.

Is it allowed to take back an offer? Like for example you are the leading bid on a rider and he would sign with you on the next day if noone overbids you. Can you then sort of "delete" the offer if you have reconsidered and don't want to sign him?

No it is not possible to take back offers when you are in the lead. I think it would not be fair to other teams in case you outbid them on that rider to then withdraw that offer.
Or what do you think?
Some other things I was made aware of:
"Leading Tie" in the overview means you are in the lead for a rider with at least one more team. It does not mean that you are leading in the tie. If nothing changes it will be randomly decided at the end of the day!
In the overview regarding the lists I forgot to include the leading bid. You can check that by looking in the "FABids" table. Sorry for that. But anyways the leading bid is included in the calculation of your remaining budget! |

100% agree with this. It would be very unfair to make a bid that dissuades anyone else from bidding for a rider, then have sign them for less than that first offer.

Fair enough, serves me right for never paying attention to the World Cup
FYI - I think I got the maximum amount of riders from previous seasons' planning sheets. The only issue would be needing to create more rows if people signed lots of extra riders.

Though don't forget, the number of race days you can book is limited, independent of how many riders you hire. So it wouldn't make sense to go wildly beyond the minimum mumber of riders.

Alright so, just making sure here, do signing directives stay relevant if they aren't PMed after each transfer day? Let's say I'm happy to keep my signing directives the same for a day or two, I don't have to send them in again right? Also, I assume that if the rider that is at the top of my list gets signed the list moves on to rider #2 automatically yea?
Really liking the new transfer system so far, great work Bikex.

@OZrocker: I think generally the World Cup is ignored a little bit too much so far. But especially classic focussed teams shouldn't do that as there is quite a lot of cash to earned: https://pcmdaily.com/forum/viewthread...st_1188170 (->11)
About the team maximum, if it has to be it isn't that big of a problem to extend the planner, but as Ripley said there is not really a point in having too big teams.
@matt: You don't need to send that in again. Everything that was sent in so far is still valid.
And yes if some other team signs the rider you have at #1, it will automatically move on to #2. It will also do that if another team has outbid your max bid. It won't try to sign #2 though if you yourself signed the rider that is #1 on the list (but I don't think that's what you meant) |

I'm sure I missed it written somewhere, but I can't find it. What is the minimum increase for an FA bid?

I don't think it's explicitly stated, but as bids must always be a multiple of 5, I guess +5 is the minimum increase.
