Following on from the accent change from last time, a couple overlooked characters have now also been removed.
- Rider and team names lost any special letters, which could lead to different excel versions to struggle with such as "Ø" or "è" or "Ã" etc. As this was rather annoying coming to race results and rankings, those are gone in the following season.
Please check your team, and let us know if anything is wrong. It is consistent with all transfer sheets though, so hopefully all is good!
Not sure what Heine did with his transfer sheet to keep Taaramäe, but his team sure looks frightening as it stands in the DB!
More seriously, some very interesting training, and then also very interesting to see that some training was never done. Looking at the PT cobbles, behind Bewley, there must be many riders liking the lack of top world class competitors, opposite to all other terrains!
Fewer cobbles trainings than expected! Sure can be happy about that.
Ulissi won't be too hurt by all the massive hill trainings going on I think, most of the riders that would have regularly beaten him will do so anyway I reckon. Really hoping PCM 18 favours his sprint stat a tad more, so he can shine where others do not, he might as well have had 65 sp and he would have got the same results these past few seasons.
Looking forward to previews time like never before, can't wait for the racing to kick off in general.
One day I will be able to afford training. Probably gonna have to stop passing 0/5 of my goals every year to get the budget there though, so... probably a long way off.
Congrats to those who made some big improvements!

The amount of money you spent in the last couple of days; think you could have afforded training well enough if you had picked that option?

Fair enough.

Really interesting updates like Mohoric and Lutsenko, Kinoshita and Izagirre's training may take a little bump on some points of ours but the lack of COB training is to my pleasing Beside Stallaert there is no riders that genuinely concerns me in a direct Summerhill battle throughout the season, and despite Machado's weaker backups I really like his RD ratio in relation to the other climbers around him.
Only Lecuisiner (and Quintana) trained on the top climbers apart from Kudus, and Lecuisinier was already in "my plans", so glad Kudus getting trained will make him stronger than expected when i decided to train him
The one I hate most is the van der Lijke-Training. Another guy besides Van Stayen and Demare to avoid for Kump. Obviously that many trained hill riders is not good.
So damn happy to see Yates go to 79HL! 81 next season, Mre, you promised me
Overall it's the usual mix of trainings, but definitely the year of HL upgrades. I like the relative lack of trainings in Sprint, Cobbles and Time Trials.
Can't wait to get a good look at the DB once home from work later today (and if I can avoid playing the new Abu Dhabi track in Dirt Rally 2.0....)
Accent characters in names seem to have re-appeared as part of this fix (FYI).
And having lots of fun studying the landscape of the 2019 MG-world!
If only I had a solid understanding of PCM18 behaviour and mechanics, I'd feel less like I was stumbling around in the semi-dark . In conjunction with how it operates with the MG DB, a situation we all face. Re-introduces an extra frission of excitment for the upcoming race reports covering the first few months of the new season that are going to undergo some quite serious study from many pairs of beady eyes I am sure!
