It was my first complete transfer season so I don't really have much to add.. The first days were a little confusing for me but it was my fault, the system looks very nice indeed and I believe everybody will agree with me

I was a little bit hesitant at first, it seemed a little daunting in theory, but it works quite smoothly in practice. One thing I will note was that I had a good amount of trouble with the transfer file at first. Not having Excel, I needed to use an alternative. Open Office crashed before finishing loading every time (it does seem to be because of the file size, it has done this with similarly-sized and larger files before), and I ended up using LibreOffice, which had its weird trouble with conditional formatting, and said conditional formatting would become completely corrupted unless I saved the document as an odt. Not really sure what exactly the problem was, I'm still trying to figure it out, but I think that better compatibility with Excel alternatives would be nice for next time.

I had a similar experience, the first time loading the .xlsx file took ages with OpenOffice. As a general rule, I try to save it as an .ods file immediately which loads WAY faster for some reason. It all works the same once it's loaded so I've got no idea why, could it be there's some tricky formatting that Excel put into their functions?

As somebody who didn't have a problem with the old format, I still think the new format worked quite well. I would have completed my team earlier but got delayed a bit due to time zone differences and other things that were unavoidable, so it's a "thumbs up" from me.

New system worked OK for me, managed to get the deals done that I needed.

The wait to fill my last spot was quite long with the 48 hour rule and then rebids where I lost so started again meaning it took nearly a week. I think the 48 hour rule is good for the first week to 10 days of bidding but could we drop this to 24 hours for the remainder to speed things up a bit?

Very pleased to see Bikex developing the system further and a big thanks to all who helped out to get the season going.

Worked for me. Two thoughts for consideration:

1. Agree with comment that the 48 hour window for FA and then for 2nd negotiations can create an awkward situation waiting for bids to resolve. And given budget limitations and that you can't sell riders you just signed you can't really risk having another deal in the works. Would be nice to be able to make "contingent" bids that would only be applied if another specified bid fell through. But could see that would create a lot of complexity so certainly don't feel strongly.

2. Would be nice to know what kind of exceptions are valid for selling a player you just signed. I assume, as a new team, that since all my riders would be new signings I was pretty much stuck but maybe that is not the case.

My understanding was that you could definitely sell a newly signed rider as long as you don't make money from the sale (it's allowed to swap a signed FA with another rider with a lower wage, you just had to make sure you didn't get money on top).

It was also compulsory to send a message to Bikex explaining why you signed a rider you weren't intending to keep, but as long as you had a valid reason (e.g. you also signed a similar rider, someone advanced an offer you couldn't refuse etc.) you were fine.

I loved this transfer window btw. I did the vast majority of the transfer season with just my phone and had no issues at all staying up to date with moves and stuff. I had no issues with the old system either but this one felt even... smoother or something?

It worked fine. Definitely a better option than doing 3 rounds of free agency. I would also consider lowering times between bids. It would help in future when you don't have a lot of money, have to sign few riders and have to wait 3-4 days for result.

Like me

Thoughout this period I only did 4 rounds of free agency, because I had to wait 2 days not only for response, but another day or two for potential round 2 result. Which at worse scenario means you have to wait 4(!) days before another offer in some specific situations.
