Keizer....not only not winning the ITT but also cracking on the mountain stage...come on.
You can do better...
Banco de Bogota lost a bit in the end but still top10 and 4 riders in the top20. Massive result still for a CT team I think. |

Well, this race was weird. Úran did what he had to but lost out in the end. It's not the end of the world but we could've scored a lot more from this race.
Thanks tsmoha for the wonderful reports despite some weird AI occurences, and congrats Xero and Meiji on the final stage and the overall victory.

Never would have expected this. Choi obviously suited the race nearly perfectly, but I know how horrible it must feel for Keizer to completely collapse like that on the last deciding day out of nowhere.
Still we really needed a result to go our way this season, and this has to be a turning point now. Choi already worth the purchase imo, and there are a few more stage races similar to this which will suit him again.
Thank you so much for the reports

Well... At least I won something. Right?
Team classification isn't something I was looking for. The depth I have paid of at least once at the start, so might be nice in future. But it was so nice! 3rd in GC and only one stage! I know the competition was much better, but I had some hopes! Now I know to not expect to get anything good |

Well I have to be happy, Kiserlovski's first stage-race and it was a huge success, again leading the CT riders like in Pico Basille. He was very consistent and it's a big relief knowing that I can absolutely count on him for every type of race he'll be in, and score very well in C1.
Gratz Valverde, that's a big big win, and a massive cheers also for dominox, it was a very strong competition so even with today's stage it was a big performance! Thanks tsmoha for all the great reports too

Well, if only for a desperately poor TT from Meintjes we could have done so much more. Even so, from the position we were in, I'll take a 2nd place in the last stage and his recovery to 7th place in the GC.
Overall, not a great race since we failed both goals in this race but hopefully we can do better in the other races we have with Meintjes as leader...
Congrats to Valv for the surprising? GC win and Jandal getting the stage win - see? getting Meintjes wasn't the be all and end all was it?

What an amazing win Velits you absolute beauty! Capping off a great race for us with an unexpected move to 2nd - commiserations to Keizer though Fair play to Choi, didn't expect that from him but richly deserved victory - well played to stick with Velits to the end, even if I would have obviously rather he cracked! Bennett put in a great ride, too, for his own chances it seems with Valls at the front of the group. A shame he could only move to 18th but with such good support work, 18th on GC and a 2nd on a stage he can be proud of this one!
2 Stages, a 2nd and a 2nd on GC - I wasn't sure we'd get those kind of results all season, nevermind in one race! A shame we couldn't add our minor points competition results up to one rider and win it Thanks for some excellent reports tsmoha, gratz again to valverde, and a final for this one!

Don’t really know what to say. To have taken a stage and have over a minute to his nearest rival going into the final stage, Keizer rode a flawless race up until the final three kilometres. That’s a pretty shit way to end the race on what was to be the easiest stage. No attacks until 3.5km to go, and he somehow loses the race lead and almost the podium. Sucks to have that happen in a race so favourable to his strengths. Ahhhhhhhhh
Congrats Valv, Choi with a very surprising win albeit a good one to make up for Shikai’s disappointment.
And thanks for the reports tsmoha, terrific as usual!

5th in the GC, cant expect much more from Nepomnyachsniy realistically, but what a shame the TT was so weak. Padun did quite well, he'll be a good U25 hunter in the coming years.
Now I hope my planning of Nepomnyachsniy will continue to yield results like this, gamblong on races with long ITTs, even without mountains...

As good a salvage job as I could've hoped for after the limp Stage 2. Top 10 was the target and Henao got there. And can my riders please stop finishing 31st?
Congrats on another stage win Jandal and to valverde on the GC!
Thanks for the great reports tsmoha

Well that was rubbish Always knew that the hilly stage would be tough but didn't expect it to knock all my riders down far enough that they wouldn't get into the Top 30 GC. Oh well, it happens. Just gotta hope for some miraculous results throughout the season or we'll be fulfilling the expectation of relegation because that race makes our PPRD awful.
Great reports as always though! And congrats to those managers and teams that did well here.

Great first part of the race, terrible second one.
Novak in the mid-10's is somehow expected, though after the first mountain stage i had hoped for more. But anything he gets is like a plus. Ndayisenga fell short of a Top20 with a bad final stage; he was very lucky that a big group was given the same time, saving his U25 jersey in the process. 3+4 in KoM is nice.
Overall not a terrible scoring race, given we had neither of our leaders in the race. We show quite some agression in a home race, so i'm really happy with that. Probably Roson should have kept trying going for KoM instead of Rodriguez, thinking of this final result where Rodriguez couldn't get a single point.
Congrats to valverde for the GC win. Honestly i didn't see that coming
And big thanks to tsmoha for the great reports!
