Landa in at 17th place, pretty happy with that! Two good days for him so far.
Nice win for Holloway, kind of deserved after the underwhelming season he had last year.
Also nice to see Kreder fighting in the top for Sykkel_Freak

That's more like it! Excellent from Kreder. Thought he had gone a bit too early, but luckily he just managed to hold onto 2nd. Holloway on the other hand in a class of his own.
Favilli also with a decent stage as well. Seems like he maybe didn't have the best position coming in to the last 3K, but hopefully he can fix that before next stage which maybe suits him even better.
De Bondt repeats what he did in San Cristobal and gets in the breakaway. Very happy with his contribution so far in this season. Kadri though, a bit disappointing. Thought he would be our best bet for a good GC placement, but having lost time today, Favilli will have to step up - unless Kreder manages to keep up on the next stage and up Willunga of course.

Glad that the more punchy sprinters are not performing that well in these stages. Someone like Ewan has only gained 16" on Ulissi so far and that should be really easy to gain back in the 2 harder stages I believe, even assuming he gains some other time in the following sprint stages.
Congrats Selwink and thanks again roturn!

@tsmoha He’s a champ, you know better than anyone! He would have loved to come back for his swansong season at PT-level, but it wasn’t to be. He’s making the most of it so far at least
Good win for Holloway with his glorious backups, dependant on stage-5 he might have a shot at the victory (?) Still no idea how this race will play out.
Another moment of appreciation for Cheng Ji, what a legend
Thanks for the report again roturn!

Gaviria got himself blocked in there, rookie mistake but he's still young so I forgive him
Waeytens not losing silly time, I might get my hopes up for him.
Changed my sig, this was getting absurd.

These late catches make for messy finishes, that's for sure! Perfect timing from Holloway on stage 2, which made it look rather easy for him. Congratulations, Selwink!
And also with the F1 system here for bonus seconds, surely some of the sprinters gaining valuable bonifications must fancy their chances for a nice overall too, especially with that old Willunga Hill stage back, as it could make it a less selective stage than the puncheurs will prefer.
Good reporting, roturn! |

Sad that we missed out on that one bonus second for Bellis there... No sweat, the next stage should suit Bellis much more. Just hope he can do well in stage 5 as well to give us a decent Overall Classification result as well

Drapac not dropped
Quevedo still in the front group, gives me hope for a semi-decent GC position.

There goes all my possible depth scoring down the drain...
At least Roelandts, though it wasn't his best performance, gave us one ranking point from this stage.
Tomorrow's stage will give us the outcome of this race. If it comes down to a reduced bunch sprint, Willunga Hill stage could see the same thing happening. If the puncheurs prevail tomorrow, not even sprinters like Ewan, Gaviria, Holloway or Roelandts will have a chance to take a good GC

Much better there from Moser, still got work to do though. Good to see Caruso & Le Gac not losing time so they're still in contention & then young Jakobsen stayed in the front group too. Funny we're somehow leading the Teams Classification.

So close for the break, nice to see Pedersen doing well. Villella and Pellaud losing more than a minute is just not acceptable tho.

It's just the bug with Teams classification when after more than 1 stage, teams have the same time, and the tie-break is broken

Not the greatest race so far but still no time loss from Edmondson who seems to be taking it easy waiting for there first hilly stage. Only 40 seconds behind the sprinters...
Congratulations to Holloway and great report Roturn!!

Awesome solo win from Gautier, and gutsy move in the dangerous 2-3km zone that can often bite you in the ass Big result for Valio, could be bigger if he defends it over Willunga!

And we go back to being irrelevant as Caruso & Moser miss the split. Moser I can understand but Caruso simply should be better.
