Just Errazkin. Apparently the positive was at GP Abimota and not the Volta as stated in another source. |

Ah ok. It seemed too soon for the mega-raid at the Volta to come to fruition (which I doubt it will)
Cyclingnews has it as terbutaline (i.e. same drug class as salbutamol). I'm very interested in how this is going to be handled, given the recent case involving you-know-who.

Probably a good idea. Less chance of him getting spat at/punched.
Also they've got to give someone else a chance to lead at a GT at some point.

And also, it is going to be a lot more interesting. |

Terpstra joins Direct Energie, didn't see that one coming.

This is a very weird move by Terpstra. Everything he has won in the cobbles, it has been thanks to his team strenght. And i don't think a team like Direct Energie can pay him a lot of money too.
He won't be anywhere close to win anything in cobbles in 2019, that's for sure

Well if anything Direct Energie have finally gotten themselves a top rider, that can give the Team some important wins under the right circumstances.. WT I just dont see it yet but it-s nice to have another strong PCT team (in this case for cobbles)

Fillipo Ganna will likely head to Sky, which is no surprise seeing Sky's Italian connections and track interests.
I would keep a close eye on him, you can see it in his Strava that he has absolutely mental power numbers, I've never seen a rider with it so high (see Binckbank TT)

Ganna at Sky means next Italian Giro winner has been found. Though his main focus will be Tokyo 2020 in track competition. |

They had to sign some big big name, with Coquard, Vichot and Rolland at Vital Concept next year, their TdF wildcard chances were at risk |

Shout out to José Neves (Fernandes) from W52/Porto for racing as a stagiare for Cannondale at least in the Colorado Classic.
Its funny cause until some hours ago nobody here had even heard of that but still great news and excited to see what he can do (now I understand why he wasn't in the Volta a Portugal )

Happy for him, and a good choice since José would probrably not race anymore or with much frequency until October. He hasn’t had as good results as João Almeida, but in national soil he has been quite dominant in the U23 level and has already won a stage race among the pros, so if well taken care of, Neves can become Portugal’s biggest names in the future. |

Same what Vaughters did say...biggest talent/rider since Rui Costa from Portugal. |

You've got to be kidding me, best talent of all time and he goes to the worst team to make him impossible to support :/ At least it's not confirmed yet, there's still a tiny spark of hope.
Please, please let him become the next Cancellara rather than the next Froome or Thomas, I don't mind him as a climber, but not with Sky, it's just not right.

So Cannondale wouldn't have one of their new stagiares busted for doping?
24/02/21 - kandesbunzler said “I don't drink famous people."
15/08/22 - SotD said "Your [jandal's] humour is overrated"
11/06/24 - knockout said "Winning is fine I guess. Truth be told this felt completely unimportant."
