Ha yeah, while Lawson Craddock on the other hand seems to be tough one.
16:09 down on Degenkolb and he wasn't the last to cross the line. |

had a MTB race and couldnt watch most of the stage live (bummer, only goos stage of the week).. Devastated for Porte, happy for Bardet, he had that classic AG2R cobbled bad luck.. Landa also unlucky, couldnt prevent the crash.. Uran, I misssed what happened to him but I suppose a puncture, really bad luck if so also.. Quintana +5 absolutely perfect (oh if it wasn't for the broken wheels, Sueño Amarillo was well alive). Froome and Thomas as expected, Jungels too.. Nibali, Fuglsang et al. crashed so I understand.. Quickstep had bad luck so I spare them for not getting the stage.. GVA doing well as expected, Dege real surprise and good to see him comeback, hope he finds his sprint legs
Also, Lawson

Landa with a nasty crash. A lot of luck just one late rider goes down as well and not many more.
Landa was drinking time of the crash.
Poor Porte. Jesus..how much bad luck that guy can take. I was hoping that this year he will silence those not GT rider talks.
Great for Dagengolb..after that crash he has not been same rider anymore.
Or maybe he is just not tough enough for a big GT.
According to his team, he had no broken bone once being checked in the hospital. The team seems to be pretty pissed.
“His collarbone isn’t broken. There are no broken bones. He’s been to hospital in Cambrai and is now on his way to Annecy. His bag is waiting for him there.”
Ochowicz on Porte. #tdf2018
Wtf? Really? Porte did not break anything?
Everybody has a plan until they get punched in the mouth.

According to Nibali Uran crashed when the group splitted at mid stage

Latest reports say Porte did break his collarbone after all.
Changed my sig, this was getting absurd.

The first 50 kilometres were nuts. It was horrendous. I hated cycling for 50 kilometres. It was like heading to a bunch sprint for 50 kilometres in a row. Not fun," Dumoulin said.
Dumoulin surely has some of the best post-race comments usually.

Soren Kragh Andersen
Boudat + 7'00
Latour + 7'37
Cort + 8'36
G. Martin +9'26
Kung +12'07
Politt +12'42
Bernal +16'09
(...)
Gaudu +23'19
Soler +24'53
Martinez +25'04
Huge lead for Kragh Andersen in the youth before the mountains, Latour in a pretty great position too with 8 and a half minutes on Bernal

SKA was at 50/1 to get white in Paris yesterday. Obviously not safe but I think it would have been worthy of a little dab on him

Gutted for Porte 2nd year in a row. Definitely feeling bummed about his exit, he is exactly like Cadel, shit just happens to him in GT's.
Now the question is, who to support for GC? |

If anyone, it's TVG who's still 2nd best on the GC for their team if 30th, 6 minutes down, Caruso is 9 minutes down.
More likely they focus on stage wins now with TVG and Caruso for mountain stages and the rest of the team strong on any sort of hillier stages or transition stages (not sure how many are left though)

As there are no Australians left for GC, I'd love to see Nibali or Quintana win overall. |

Oh, thought you meant BMC
I’m cheering for Bardet now! But as long as Froome doesn’t win I’m happy

Not really, that stage was basically a one-climb stage.. and that climb is easier than all of the 1st and HC climbs they'll go trough tomorrow.
Also just checked.. that stage had roughly 2200m of elevation, tomorrow's is about double of that
