Guardini what a waste of time in GT's.

I have no idea what happened to him. Picked him in my Velogames team as a 4 point domestique thinking it was a steal, but I should have known better. Didn't factor in a single sprint and then out on the first hill stage.

This is a guy that beat 2012 Cav at 23 and looked to have a really good future, especially in the Giro. And yet he's fallen off worse than even Farrar and Goss. What a shame.

He fell ill and quit with a fever.

Though you are right on most of the things. Except that Guardini can still sprint in Asia.

MAL simply rode straight into a corner...lucky him it was a rather flat field there.

Good win for Battaghlin. Bit of a strange affair though with the corners. I thought this was supposed to be a hill finish.

The hill was with 3-4 km to go. Then it was flattish, different to yesterday, when the ramp was the final.

I am loosing money in this Giro in ridiculously close manners and I hope it doesn't go on Angry

Anyway not a surprise by Battaglin, if last year was a sign he is strong enough to win a finish like, yesterday was a confirmation and today the win.. Lost money cause of Gonçalves but still very proud of his result, really curious to see if he'll try to hang on tomorrow..

Yeah...probably ended like this as well. But you never know and this late crash basically stopped all chances by the 2nd half of the peloton where some "sprinters" were still in and just afterwards the stage became easier with the hardest climb done.
