| | 1399 | Mullen | Ryan | Kulczyk - DMTEX | | 6337 | Geoghegan Hart | Tao | Kulczyk - DMTEX | Fablok - Bank BGZ | 1530 | Paluta | Michal | Kulczyk - DMTEX | | 1523 | Konwa | Piotr | Kulczyk - DMTEX | |
Mullen, the odds-on favourite for (likely) two stages, will be riding in Kulczyk colours in this iteration of the Avenir. If sgdanny is happy to keep Hart on the Kulczyk roster, we're going to open up our remaining 3 slots to more EU riders.
We're looking for those with TT skills in case there is a TTT (doubtful) and to be the dominant team for two stage wins, but happy to consider other ideas for the team composition. In particular, anyone looking for a home for their climber or puncheur in the tour is welcomed.
Thanks for running this trekbmc!

Nominating my one and only eligible rider:
Cyclist ID | Last Name | First Name | 2017 Team | Avenir Team | 657 | Major | Jay | Minions
Can be thrown into whichever team needs someone to fill their squad.

Nominating the following:
CyclistID | Last name | First name | 2017 Team | 5890 | Würtz | Mads | Grieg - Eftel | | 6402 | Jansen | Amund Grøndahl | Grieg - Eftel | | 5888 | Andersen | Søren Kragh | Grieg - Eftel
Anyone fancy some flat power and TT strength in their team? Can't really see a natural team for them atm, with bbl joining forces with Scorchio and Statoil having enough eligible riders on their own, but hopefully they can team up with someone.
Maybe they can help you in the sprints, Heine?

Happy to team up with a group of other Africans
Makes sense to combine forces, with space for one more rider to opt in. I dont mind whether it is in Haute kit or the 'neutral' Project Africa kit.
If you need another African guy to finish this team, please consider Zouzou Andriafenomananiaina

I’ll nominate all my eligible riders
5889 | Bohli | Tom | SPAR - Shimano - SCG | | 596 | Leung | Chun Wing | SPAR - Shimano - SCG | | 5093 | Ghani | Muhammad Suhaimi | SPAR - Shimano - SCG | | 5270 | Hsu | Hsuan Ping | SPAR - Shimano - SCG | | 1896 | Fabbro | Matteo | SPAR - Shimano - SCG | | 3096 | Bico | Nuno | SPAR - Shimano - SCG
I have no real preferences for how they are used in teams. I guess I could have my own team, but that would be a rather weak, so they could need a leader to support. If the 3 loaning our teams have other plans for their riders(like sotd seems to have) they are of course free to take their riders! |

After missing out on last year's Avenir, I'll nominate all my riders first:
Cyclist ID | Last Name | First Name | 2017 Team | Avenir Team | 5805 | O'Connor | Ben | Garmin - BikeNZ Cycling | | 474 | Hamilton | Chris | Indosat Ooredoo - ANZ | | 351 | Cooper | Anton | Jayco - Cobra9 | | 5001 | Power | Robert | Repsol - Honda
Power has already been nominated for Repsol, I know. I'm not sure, which direction we will go for Avenir. Would obviously love to team up with another Oceanian focussed team (Garmin, maybe?), but I'm well aware of the fact, that loan-in teams come first. So in case I won't PM you, guys, please let me know, what your plans are.
My preference: line up with Garmin and get a team with Schultz and Scotson in addition to my riders

Nominating my Loaned out riders and Frankiny, I don't mind how they are used, I'm guessing most of the loaned out riders will be used on the teams they are loaned out to, so if anybody wants Frankiny then let me know.
Edit: Forgot the table code.

After discussion with the respective managers, Meiji can field a team of 5
Spoiler Cyclist ID | Last Name | First Name | 2017 Team | Avenir Team | 6334 | Shirota | Yamato | Meiji - JR East | Meiji | 177 | Arashiro | Yudai | Meiji - JR East | Meiji | 2108 | Zhao | Jingbiao | Meiji - JR East | Meiji | 817 | Kuroeda | Saya | Vesuvio - Accumalux | Meiji | 656 | Onodera | Rei | Xero Racing p/b Octagon | Meiji |
I'd also like to suggest taking on 1 or 2 of jph's 9 Sri Lankans (if a 9 rider team isn't allowed), so that all his riders can participate, and keep Meiji as a fully Asian team. If Manx isn't allowed to have an 8 rider team, we'd also happily take on Huynh if he's okay with that.

yep, I'm in as well. Project Africa kit works for me as well as a jersey. Maybe have the African Champs version

Yes, you can nominate riders that are in your team, loaned in or loaned out. The decision of where the loaned in/out riders race is up to both managers

Cheers hillis - that makes a 7 man team for Xero with Schomber, Schleck, Novardianto, Kennett, Schreurs, Afoa and Ambrose. Onodera will ride for the Meiji/East Asia team
24/02/21 - kandesbunzler said “I don't drink famous people."
15/08/22 - SotD said "Your [jandal's] humour is overrated"
11/06/24 - knockout said "Winning is fine I guess. Truth be told this felt completely unimportant."
