No, wait, what the hell is Christophe Laporte doing, now he's a time-trialist too? Is trekbmc a visionary or what, maybe this year he's really going for the green on Le Tour.
Yeah, perfect season start for him. Just added 3rd in the Prologue and 1st in Stage 1 of Tour La Provence. Apparently he'll lead Cofidis in the classics and he could go really well in some of the easier ones - looking forward to KBK especially, though maybe he'll shine in harder ones too, wouldn't put it past him (we'll see if he's racing them though).
Hopefully he gets to lead the Tour though, would be a shame if he had to lead out Bouhanni again, especially because he has a stage win (and green) in him.
Provence Stage 1 final sprint, he even has a weird salute

A great start to the year for him, was just going to rant about him... |

A slide that involved Bouhanni and Cavendish that was forced to brake in last km conditioned last sprint in Dubai, won by Viviani closing his perfect week with GC too

Easy one ..to many corners at last km. All peloton is spread out.
Remember Lukas Pöstlberger and Giro. He was leadout man at stage one..then noticed. Shit I got away. Pink jersey as reward.
Cofidis will go with Bouhani..we all feel bad for it..
Great win still |

Definitely was fun to watch. Was it Bernal who went with Uran first? It looked like he could've won had he kept on going...

Yeah, he've just said he was expecting Henao's attack, but was blocked... Egan could try to go for the win, but it was too late...

Good to see Moser back in action. Very elegant rider.
Remember he was such a promising rider as neo-pro. |

In Sarjah and Besseges he couldn't pull it off, but I'm glad Coquard finally pulled of a win for the team, it's much needed for his confidence and besides the many criticism arround him he's still a rider I enjoy watching racing a lot!
Also, mentioned to CN this morning, he has Amstel as main goal for the early season.

How can Vital Concept call themselve a Cycling Club ?
Isn't just a team based on a sponsor?
Just a wondering.. |

Great to see Coquard winning something, as it really helps me to get some points in the Fantasy Season

Guess they are considering the designation of the word Club a synonym of Team...? I don't know, I think it was created from scratch based on the sponsorship of Vital Concept. |

Coquard racing against Laporte in 2018 - No wins
Coquard racing with no Laporte (he's to busy killing it in Provence) - instant win
Laporte > Coquard. He's put aside Sagan and Coquard, now he needs to keep the good form to kick everyone else's ass in March, April and July
24/02/21 - kandesbunzler said “I don't drink famous people."
15/08/22 - SotD said "Your [jandal's] humour is overrated"
11/06/24 - knockout said "Winning is fine I guess. Truth be told this felt completely unimportant."

Laporte is already becoming an early season problem for the stats team.

As Trek would say, end the problem giving him 85 in sprint

I think we'll get a true picture of how he should be over the coming months. I haven't seen him race this year and my knowledge on him is based on last season and Aldrofj looks more at the French races than me. But I know he's riding the opening Belgian classics and clearly will ride P-N and MSR so that will be a good indicator.
