Would be nice if it's someone we didn't expect yet, like Latour, Oomen or Lopez. With everyone going for Giro or Tour, they could start the Vuelta quite fresh and it's another 8 month of developping away.
Changed my sig, this was getting absurd.

You know this is the kind of planning from Movistar I don't understand! Why send all three to the Tour? If Landa needs to lead in the Vuelta for his WC chances, so be it. Would've loved seeing Valverde leading there but anyway. No need to send him to the Tour if you ask me. So who leads in the Giro? Nairo?

Well. He got the TT abilities. He got the climbing potential. He just needs to gain experience, keeping in mind the few amount of time he raced on professional level and the rookie mistakes he does (Crashing in the food zones especially, he loves doing that)

Neither do I, looks like the 85% version of Dumoulin to my mind. He still is a damn good and graceful rider to watch though.

I think he goes to TdF again trying to win even more stages this year, although the one stage he won last year was epic, watching him leave Contador in the dust 
Also historic 1st TdF stage win for Slovenian cycling 
I think he maybe targets grand tour GC next year. He is still so inexperienced there is no telling what type of rider he ends up becoming. |

Rob Power is bound to have a good year. He has/had GT potential and he could realistically top 5 or win (if he unlocks his full potential) a Giro in 5 years (imo). |

How are some of the last couple of years' Avenir winners coming along? Taking the last 5 winners - Ruben Fernandez, MAL, Soler, Gaudu and Bernal - who wins a GT first? Do they win any at all?
