Not a great day for us here but wasn't expecting much. Hope we can play our cards right over the next few stages. MTK doing well to earn a top 10 is cool to see as well. Great to see SanCor getting a win here, gratz Ian!
24/02/21 - kandesbunzler said “I don't drink famous people."
15/08/22 - SotD said "Your [jandal's] humour is overrated"
11/06/24 - knockout said "Winning is fine I guess. Truth be told this felt completely unimportant."

I like this Only 1 second lost to Eastman and Suaza? Amazing!
About the race of my team... they all suck in TT so... you can see that we are third to last in Teams
Congrats to Ian for the win!

Wtf, Rosas? PCM is doing weird stuff this season.. Grats to Ian though
Very pleased with this stage. Ma third gives us some nice points, Anacona consistant as ever and Manfredi losing a lot of time, setting him up for attacks. Can't wait for stage two. |

There's surprise, there's random and then there's PCM TTs. Congrats Ian!

A shame that the strongest time triallists weren't able to deliver, but cool to see the result of a SanCor victory.
Tvetcov the biggest winner of the GC riders, while Valls will be very happy to be within a second of Suaza and Eastman. Penasa probably even happier. Would expect the mountain to still be what counts though, between them all.

Really not a great start for Garmin...Roe only 34 seconds behind which might lead to something, But Campero almost 1'30 back which will be super hard to bring back!! Not a great start in Italy for us

Grabovski out of the top 10 is disappointing. Everything else was more or less expected.
Congrats Ian and thanks for the report roturn.

I was hoping Ahmad Zamri would have a shot at the youth jersey but I forgot Eastman is so young, as there's no way my Malaysian can best him. Narrowly missing out on the stage victory is a little disappointing, as the extra points would have been useful and it would have got us 1 stage win closer to our goal.
That said not defending the jersey could leave us free to go in breaks or leave Awang not having to work and able to just ease through tomorrow's stage so he doesn't have to use too much energy up before the sprint stage.

SN, you’re right, we’re thrilled with Penasa’s performance. The TT was very hit or miss, but it seems 3P nailed it. Will Tvetcov’s gap hold over this difficult mountain finish in stage 2? Personally, I doubt it.
Congrats to Ian, love to see the Argentines doing well! And thanks for the report, roturn

Sancor victories are the best, but kinda feel for ryant given the team he sent.
Awesome to see Tvetcov primely placed though, too bad there was no chance to make a GC bet on him.
Bennet did better than expected which is great, hopefully he can make up the difference in the mountains.
Thanks for the fantastic report Roturn!

SanCor a winner almost all of us can get behind, congrats Ian!
Kinda glad we don't have a top TTer ourselves (yet) with continued random results.

Ouch. Feel sorry for cycleYorkshire, as I have some love for teams lining up with several guns for a timetrial. Too bad it didn't pay off.

So far, so good. Now all my team needs is not having BS fall that makes one of my riders out of the race

Wow, I was really impressed by Asgreen there. Didn't think his TT skills were that great, but he showed some potential there landing in the top 35.

Seemed that we were only firing blanks though
Decent stage result considering the way TTs have been panning out recently but I'll take Tvetcov's result as it puts him in a great position for the GC. Still bonuses and the competition mean a win is unlikely, but top 5/even a podium would be amazing!
Congrats to SanCor for the win though, you better enjoy it

Our first of the season! That's SanCor power if I've ever seen it. Rosas was heavily motivated to show his worth and he did, against much better talented riders, he showed heart!
Thanks for the congratulations. We'll surely enjoy this win and this first leader's jersey. An unexpected win, but that's the only way we fly |
