Just 20 seconds in the end, who would have thought after that Andorra stage.

Poels should not be able to do that, not at all or maybe just Sky shouldn't be able to, either way...
Shame Nibali didn't have the legs, same for Kelderman losing the podium, Contador really made this Vuelta fortunately, beautiful way to end his career. Stage 19 and 20 have had the perfect stage winners.

What a thriller. Insane chaos and historical FINISH.
Almost like a movie.

Just for you Ian, First thing I hear from Froome to his Vuelta: "It's amazing". Jeez, guy knows no other word.

Almost a classic podium triple.
Three Kings nearly made it up on the podium Froome-Nibali-Contie
Zakarin ruined that amazing threesome.

Well Contador sure got his way out in a great way. Thank you for all over the years. Congratz to Froome, too. Great double and surely one of the all time greats, too. I wonder what's in store for him next seasons and if he can grab the magic number five.

Van Garderen actually got his top-10 after Aru's crumble and De la Cruz's fall. |

Guess in the massive mess that is the cycling world, sucess does eventually come to those who try the hardest. Chapeau!

One of the few true racers of his generation. It's been a joy to watch the end of his career.

What a way to go Contador.
Man he's to me the same kind of legendary climber as Pantani and Jimenez, but with the GT record that says even more.
Froome deserved winner of the Vuelta. Also a legend now with the first rider to do the Tour-Vuelta double with this calender (previous riders won it when Vuelta was in april).
Zakarin deserved his podium spot for simply being stronger than Kelderman, who blew up trying to follow. |

Poels was already 2nd at the Angliru when he was really young and when he was at Vacansoleil. Explain how he is not supposed to be able to do it now? Being a far stronger rider than 6 years ago |
