F1 vs MotoGP is finally happening
Both of us have a focus on (South) East Asia alongside our main European nation so there might be some common interest in the transfer season there.
Either way I look forward to battling you throughout the season and hopefully we will have similar strengths in our teams so I get to see your jersey alongside mine at the front of the peloton a few times this season.

Another of our fellow rookie managers with a winning combination as a sponsor. And the jersey looks very recognizable from their time in Moto GP. Will be interesting to see how we match up. All the best
It's easy. I win, you can fight for second place

I see that unfortunately for you, you are the highest ranked CT team that has not promoted. Now it seems that you should a favourite for promotion this year, and having my jersey next to yours in the front of the peloton should be good for me

Interesting idea to use a MotoGP team. We already have an F1 team so why not!
Good for your first season in MG

MotoGp should fit a bit more better than F1 in MG. I mean, in MotoGp you have motorbikes, and in cycling you have...
Thanks, and congrats on your late promotion!
Team manager is waiting for confirmation from MGUCI to reveal which are our goals for our maiden season

With the new rule that CT are forced to ride all C2HC races, we have confirmed half of our race days for our inagural season.
CT teams have a total of 120 RD for the season, and 60 of them have to be C2HC races, while the other 60 RD will be picked later in the pre-season.
Right now, Repsol - Honda would make his debut in Great Ocean Road Classic, in the last day of January, although it's unlikely that this will be our first ever race, as before this race, there are 2 C2 races, and 1 C1 race.
Also, but this time for sure, we'll end the season with Zuri-Metzgete, a one-day race in Switzerland, around mid-October
Race | Country | RD | Dates | Great Ocean Road Classic | Australia | 2 | 31/1 | Giro del Trentino | Italy | 5 | 16/2-20/2 | Geraardsbergen-Bosberg | Belgium | 2 | 21/2 | Gisborne GP | New Zealand | 2 | 25/2 | Bayern-Rundfahrt | Germany | 5 | 14/3-18/3 | Tour du Faso | Burkina Faso | 3 | 19/5-21/5 | Lillestrom GP | Norway | 2 | 2/6 | Tour d'Andorra | Andorra | 5 | 26/6-30/6 | Tour de San Luis | Argentina | 8 | 1/7-8/7 | Benelux Challenge | Benelux | 6 | 3/8-8/8 | Grands Prix Cyclistes | Canada | 2 | 20/8-21/8 | Paris-Tours | France | 2 | 5/9 | Tour of Britain | Great Britain | 8 | 5/9-12/9 | Colombian Venteaux | Colombia | 2 | 1/10 | Course de Solidarnosc | Pologne | 4 | 9/10-12/10 | Zuri-Metzgete | Switzerland | 2 | 18/10 |

The manager of the team partly sponsored by McLaren is rather annoyed at this comment

As you can see, not extremely hard goals for our inagural season, and all of them focused on Mountain races.
We'll have our only win goal of the season very early, with Vuelta al Tachira being raced in January. Ten days of racing in Colombia, including 4 mountain stages in a row
WIN Vuelta al Tachira (C2)
Giro del Trentino will be our lowest goal. The 20-km TT is the reason why we have only a top10 goal for the race
TOP 10 Giro del Trentino (C2HC)
After several months without a race goal, we'll go to one of the most brutal races in MG. Mountais, mountains and more mountains. Just look at that last stage
TOP 5 Tour d'Andorra (C2HC)
Final race goal of the season. Another mountanious stage race, this time with a 25-km TT which will benefit climber with good TT ability
TOP 5 Tour of Bulgaria (C2)
I decided that this season i shouldn't have realistic expectations of promotion, so i went for a safer goal, just make it into the Top15

Big tour plans for Repsol - Honda! If you get things right in the transfers, you could have a very big debut season, much higher than that Top 15 lark. Good luck

I won't avoid the chance to build a promotion team, but as a new manager i decided to not set the bar too high from the start.
I mean, i don't want to fail all my goals in the first season

Seeing your goals I wish you good luck we should meet quite a bit and considering the strength of other teams as well, it may be difficult to achieve all those goals, but with a good transfer season who knows what can happen!

A MG legend. We just have signed a MG legend. Alejandro is the only rider to have won twice the Road World Championship (in 2008 and 2010) and also the only rider to have won a Grand Tour, a Monument classic and the Road World Championship
He is likely to be the most succesfull Spanish rider in MG history, with over 30 wins in his MG career, including 2 LBL, 1 Vuelta, 2 WC, 1 Fleche Wallonne, 1 Paris-Nice, 1 Cataluña and 3 San Sebastian
He has signed for the minimun wage in what it looks to be his final year as a pro rider. Although he is far from his 2007-2011 level, he is still useful as a mountain/hilly domestique, and that, together with help the young riders to learn will be his main task in our team.
Welcome Alejandro!

Repsol - Honda manager is glad to anounce that he has reached an agreement with two more climbers, one from each team's focus regions; Spain and Japan.
Rafael Serrano signs with the minimum wage. He is useful as a lieutenant or last domestique due to his good MON stat (76), his decent back-ups and his increible kick-up. The 30-year-old is glad to have signed for us, and can't wait to work for our leader (soon to be confirmed)

The other rider is Hideto Nakane, a japanese climber who rode last year for Hankook - Ping An Bank
Hideto might not be as good as Rafael, but he will be a great helper in the mountains despite his lack of punch

Serrano and Nakane are both solid climbers to get so cheaply so you should be happy with those signings. Obviously Valverde isn't the rider he once was but it's always nice to have an iconic rider in the team!

And his new team leader will be happy to have them as domestiques

The 30-yo has signed for our team after paying 550k to his former team; Euskaltel. Last season he was the top scorer for Euskaltel, just outside of the top40 in the Individual Rankings with over 450 points
With his arrival, he have found the top climber that the team were looking for in order to achieve our goals this season. With the current CT squad, Rafa is clearly the best climber of the division, with only Eduard Alexander Beltran being able to match him.
Rafa has express his satisfation to join us, and he is happy to already have two great domestiques like Nakane and Serrano

Jeez, two seasons ago Atapuma and Anacona were the scariest climbers in CT. How times change I'd be surprised if Valls wasn't top 3 at the ens of season.

Very happy to see Valls find a new challenge in the CT division after 2 seasons for my team. I certainly hope he ends up near the top of the rankings and will be following your races closely!
