You are our best and only lead, we may as well try you, maybe we can learn who is cc/dec maybe we won't. He doesn't have to announce himself after searching you of course, but right now its 11v3 and tomorrow it'll be 10v3. I like the sound of 10v2 if you give a mafia read to both trek and the other cc/dec.
EDIT: Lynch no one, our only lead is knockout, and we can use him to maybe learn something. No sense in shrinking our numbers prematurely. |

Okay, then i propose this variation:
Lynch noone today, the "real detective" should investigate me tonight.
If he gets a mafia read on me he should speak up to vote me out. If not he should remain quiet to protect his role.
If somebody speaks up as detective and gives me a mafia grade then vote me out. You will see that I'm protown and then vote out whoever told you that he is the detective and I'm pro-mafia.
Should this happen, I ask the detective to not stop him but investigate trek whether he is CC or mafia next.
If no real detective speaks up you can assume for now that I'm clean (or that the mafia was damn lucky by eliminating the detective already)
Does this sound good enough to you?
PS: I'm a normal townee without a special role so if we find a mafia member by lynching me it is worth it. However, i dont want to die a death that doesnt give you any further information.
Spoiler The doctor should propably protect trek so that he has a chance to confirm that he is the CC

I'm willing to roll with knockout's plan here if everybody with each role follows through on it. Trek outing himself this early is certainly suspicious in my mind, but without a true lead, it's always bad to lynch a townie and get the mafia 2 kills in one day. Of course we need to make those decisions at some point, but this plan at least gives us more information rather than a shot in the dark.

Why is everybody trusting trekbmc? I mean, who uncovers himself so early with a key role? Imo it's stupid to do that. If he is right, he is likely to be killed by mafia really soon, although mafia could use that to frame knockout, if knockout is not mafia

Whether it was the clever work of the town doctor, the mafia being scared of some of the discussions here, just not there, or it really was a one-off kill of someone with some debts unpaid, we don;t quite know. All we know is that everyone is still alive and itching to know why.

I investigated you and got innocent this time, so I'm definitely the confused cop.
Also, did the doctor follow Knockout's advice and protect me last night? Could explain why the mafia killed nobody? So possible they were attacking me to frame Knockout. In which case, I'm very lucky.  (or maybe they're just terrible, given they've already missed it once).

Doubt that. In that case they could have easily just picked a random townie (who didn't say much). The only reason I can see that they willingly did not kill anybody is that they tried to fake a doctor save on trek which would make trek look innocent if he were part of the mafia. And that is propably too complex
I think there are two likely explanation for why we have seen no kill tonight:
1) Doctor saved the target. This could have been trekbmc if they wanted to frame me as all other possible targets would look rather random and difficult to guess for the detective.
However, keep in mind that they likely knew that trek is not the detective but rather the confused cop (if not part of the mafia himself) as they know who is part of the mafia and having the cc around is not a bad thing (especially if he doesn't realize).
2) They are not organized well and / or rather inactive. If we think this is the case then we should perhaps try to lynch those who did not comment much and/or are more likely to miss nights like MountainMaster. Would not think that this is realistic if they only missed one night kill but since they have missed twice makes me consider this as well (also jandals first night comment about special roles yet to act)
What do you think which of these two options is more likely?

So we do not get told if the doctor saved the target? In versions I've played the narrator says the doctor made a save but does not identify who was saved. |
