In Heli view Sagan's elbow goes out more as Cav hits him that is done to balance from falling on opposite site. Ride at 60kmph and touch someone else and see how elbow/knees comes out to balance it out from falling on other side. |

Normally Eurosprts are first to support British riders. But they are also saying Cav had no where to go.
Cutting riders off in a sprint is a big no no anyway... I'm not sure if you're trying to troll but you aren't doing a good job of it atm

Slow-mo shows the elbow never hit and it was more a reaction of feeling someone back and inside at the hip.
If anything from Sagan hit Cav it was Peters hip I think.
Cav tried to find a hole and really got himself in trouble.

If they do perhaps they should insert "lanes" with ropes as in swimming.
No human can keep things as clean as not something happens in wild sprints like this. Far worse things have been seen over the years, but if they start picking at every small infraction perhaps we have seen the last of dramatic sprints.

Demare clearly changed both his line and clearly interfered with the sprint of another rider

That's nothing...they should've taken him off the race for that. Greipel was furious in an interview.

Well placed as last will hurt him way more here.
Also even if Sagan didn't touch Cavendish with his elbow he went to the right in the sprint even if there was no space anyway. That could be interpreted as cutting off, even if it can be discussed if it was intentional to block Cavendish.
Demare's line changes are more understandable if you see what was happening around him, also he didn't block someone into the fences while doing so.

Impossible give 0/100 fault to one or another...maybe Sagan could do something better, but Cav starts overtaking his rear wheel when ther's less than 80 cm between sagan and wall

It's wrong to relegate Sagan. I thaught he was at fault as well the first few times i saw it, but let's clear a few things.
- He doesn't hit Cavendish at any point with his albue, you can't find a picture of that what so ever.
- There is next to no gap, and Cavendish is coming from behind, trying to force his way through.
- He touch Sagan's on the back somehow, and falls
- Sagan pulls out his right albue to regain balance
IMO just what happens in sprints.
But hey, look at that, with Sagan relegated maybe they can get a frenchman in the green jersey |
