Why not? If we dare to make him start 3.00, that would be 69 fl, 70 hi, 73 cb, 73sp. And I think a 23 year old can start at lvl 3. Many ManGame riders max out at 25.

And would probably deserve better flat, hill and cobble stats (and would likely get them next season).
Nokere Koerse, Handzame Classic and Münsterland Giro as references for those stats.

agree on that, eventhough with those stats also classics/hills/sprint training would be considerable - still I'd more of see him as a lvl 1/2 talent, that ould use less sprint focus and instead more flat...
1997 is just 2 years too young

The only viable alternative I see is hills training if he goes to a CT team, and I don't see him end up at one with that potential and the need for one PT season.

Just like Bushwackers/Swiss, there are quite some Russian free agents that should be upgraded in order to make them useful. Russian cycling is in decline, so instead of adding a lot of talents (I might add a few later) maybe these guys need to be looked at again?
These free agents all are riding in real life for Katusha, Gazprom or Lokosphinx in 2017; current stats in the MG DB + ProCyclingStats and CQranking links ->

What are people's thoughts on Edward Dunbar? He seems like a decent TT rider with a 2nd place finish in Irish NC and like a rider that can go for a bit of GT. Might be a useful domestique?

Yeah he won RvV beloften, then again I was mainly going off of the pcs speciality chart for the GC part. But they have everyone high on GC so props shoulda taken that with a grain of salt.

He should wait a year to go in IMO
If not then go in as basically a more TT version of Roche he was always down a climber when he was younger (you can actually back him to win the Tour de France in his career on the irish bookmaker Paddy Power)

I very much like your proposals jt! To Dunbar: he's mostly a classics man I'd say, but going well on every terrain

Can I suggest new riders even if I'm not (yet) part of the MG?
If so, i would like to suggest some Spanish young talents

I think he just has a massive engine so happens to be going well everywhere but he's not a (Specialist Classic Man) at least not at the moment as it's only he's 2nd year riding cobbles and to put it into Context NFTO didn't even send him to Rutland Melton when he was in CT as he was seen as someone who could ride a high GC in the tour of Yorkshire instead (Crashed out on stage 1 when leading the bunch and being in the lead of the KOMS) I think the safest bet is a TT rider if he's getting added but really waiting a year and really letting his results show his Speciality a bit more would be the best call |

@jt: I meant hilly classics in first line and cobbled only in second - indeed his biggest strength is his engine, that he uses well also in TTs

It seems like you know way more about Dunbar, than I do. I just thought he would make an interesting addition. Waiting a year to get a better grasp of his speciality seems to be a good idea tho

All my suggestions are for when the riders are maxed out. It's not great to see that there are so little Spanish talents currently
ID | Surname | First name | Fl | Mo | Hl | TT | St | Rs | Rc | Cb | Sp | Ac | Ft | Dh | Pl | Nat. | Cont. | XP Level | XP Points | D | M | Year | Pot | xxxx | Mas | Enric | 69 | 78 | 77 | 71 | 74 | 73 | 77 | 56 | 60 | 77 | 73 | 70 | 68 | ESP | EU | 4 | 100 | 7 | 1 | 1995 | 6 | xxxx | GarcÃa Cortina | Ivan | 76 | 66 | 70 | 68 | 76 | 74 | 70 | 76 | 76 | 75 | 70 | 73 | 68 | ESP | EU | 4 | 100 | 20 | 11 | 1995 | 5 | xxxx | RodrÃguez | Cristian | 69 | 75 | 74 | 68 | 72 | 70 | 72 | 55 | 64 | 72 | 76 | 74 | 66 | ESP | EU | 4 | 100 | 3 | 3 | 1995 | 4 |
Enric Mas is called the "Next Contador" , not only because of his great climbing abilities, also because he was in Contador's U23 team before jumping into Etixx / Quick Step development team, and now WT Quick Step. Mas has had the best results for a Spanish amateur rider in a long time, winning Tour de Savoie, and being 2nd in Valle d'Aosta in U23 races, apart from winning Volta ao Alentejo (2.2)
This season he has already prove to be a future climbing star, with a great perfomance in Vuelta al Pais Vasco, where he ended inside the top15 in GC, while helping David de la Cruz.
https://www.procyclingstats.com/rider....eason=2017
Ivan Garcia Cortina is the Spanish hope for cobbled classic, as he finished in 2016 in both top10 in Flanders and Roubaix U23 races. Garcia Cortina has also a good sprint ability, which he proved after coming close to finish in the top10 in Scheldeprijs a week ago, and also when he ended 7th in 2016 U23 Worlds. I suggest that HIL stat because of what he did in Czech Tour (2.1) last season, when he finished in the podium in final stage in a rather hilly course
https://www.procyc...eason=2017
Cristian Rodriguez has recently shown decent climbing abilities, like when he finished 4th in Giro dell'Appennino a few days ago, or his 10th place in Tour de L'Avenir last year, together with a 3rd place in U25 in Trentino last season. I think he can develop into a good domestique for a WT/PCT or even a leader in CT (well, that's a long shot looking at current stats for CT leaders)
