You have no idea how many times a day I check this site to see if the bets are down!
It's actually really easy, they will be automatically taken down once the deadline is reached

Thanks for the fantastic preview roturn, should be a great Tour with all areas covered with stars.
Spilak is my nr.1 favourite after what was happening in earlier GTs in hilly stages. I think he should grab the yellow fairly early and build a nice advantage prior to last week. Schleck is obviously dangerous there. So good luck SotD!
From Metinvest point of view, it is all about the first week and good start into the Tour with riders as Zmorka, Ignatiev and rest of our TTT train. I hope for podium in TT and same in TTT, maybe Ignatiev can show some of his past heroics and grab yellow jersey somewhere?
Karnulin should fight for late top20 in GC, some attacks would be nice too.
Guardini is not a top5 material i guess, so i hope atl east for couple of top10 finishes. Fingers crossed for Pokerstars train, i hope Degenkolb shows Bewley his place.
Good luck to all!

Great preview roturn.
RBH likely to continue their inevitable slide towards relegation here - hoping for blind luck perhaps I can borrow some from pendlefluke?

Super Coppel secures early joy for SotD, congratulations! On the other hand Spilak with a huge time loss, kind of funny to see Nesset in front of him. Guess that's a result list the latter will print and put on the wall
Thank you for the extensive coverage of the prologue, roturn, and also congratulations on a great result by Keizer. |

I can't wait now to see SotD raging about Spilak loosing minutes in the early stages of the race due to burning himself out to defend Coppel's jersey

Fantastic to win the prologue, and take the yellow jersey. Last season was the first time ever we didnt win a stage in the TdF, so it's very cool to start out like this. The first stage is always the best stage to win!
That said, the others performed like a roll with a dice. Maxime Bouet was my 2nd best, while Vlatos was easily the worst 80+ TTer. That was a crap performance. He needs to perform well in the TTT! Spilak also underperformed, so he will need to attack on stage 5 Where I expect Coppel have lost the jersey anyway. For now we will just take whatever points we can get. Coppel looks likely to score what we expected from him now. With some luck he can keep the jersey for another two stages. In the best case scenario he loses yellow at the end of stage 4, which leaves Spilak free to attack. I dislike the gap to Phinney and need to take WAY more time on Schleck.
Thanks for the report and all the congrats.

And there goes my chance to see Chavanne in the youth jersey
Thanks for mentioning him though. He was so often ignored in short prologue that it's a nice change
Koch losing 42 seconds is bad for his quest for yellow ...
A Big Thank You To All MG Reporters!

A top 10 from Chavanne in the Le Tour Prologue is amzing considering he is unmaxed. That is definitely something for him to gloat about to his teammates next season and is right up there with Zoidl's world ITT top 10 last season for our best result.
I agree with knockout that it is a shame to see him miss out on the youth jersey but we can't have everything, maybe he xan steal some bonus seconds and spring a surprise to steal it before we hit the lumpy stuff, even if that is unlikely.

The real racing starts tomorrow.
Thanks for the awesome report though Shonak! Nice to see a favourite do well in a ITT lottery, congrats SotD!

The Tour is here! The Tour is here!
Fantastic preview, although including Maksimov as a possible sprint winner is pure comedy.
Need an Abal bounce back after the meltdown that was CdDL. Tough field, as expected, but he seems to do better when the pressure isn't on him. So glad he got off to a decent start in stage one.
Overall, a top 15, a (few) stage win(s) and somehow winning the Polka Dots (season goal) is the aim here for Movistar-US Postal. Make it happen PCM.

Great stuff by Coppel there, nice to see him start performing like he should in the biggest race. The results for today's favourites are not as weird as I expected them to look, glad this TT wasn't too influenced by daily form as it would seem!
On the other hand there are much bigger differences between the GC favourites!
Thanks for the report roturn, great stuff.

German power sprinting
But I must say Mohs winning was the least likely German winner in my eyes. But congratulations, beagle. Must be very promising to see even Mohs strong enough to challenge on the flat stages, being your plan B at best.
Disappointing from Kristoff, but it's always going to be difficult without a train. Especially when almost all the top sprinters are here, as it makes it a lot harder to pick the right train. Hopefully he can get lucky on one or two stages. |

Always cool to see Pokerstars winning on a flat stage. Congrats beagle!
I'm just grateful for every day in the break and for every mountain point. Was obvious that the break never stood a chance but still nice to see us joining the action somehow

When your train is so strong that the leadout outsprints your main sprinter
But seriously what the hell happened there? Mohs forgetting he's not supposed to actually sprint? He was doing everything but trying to lead out Degenkolb! Are they not getting along anymore?
Congrats regardless beagle, I'm sure 1-3 is not bad regardless, even though Degenkolb is a better bet for the green jersey.
