Can only say I was really lucky this time, as I thought about doing my big board yesterday afternoon, but then forgot to actually do it... Happy to see that I still got three riders due to the board from the previous round.
Fairly sure my team won't challenge for the top spots in the rankings this time around, but I like how it shapes up. Three Norwegians though is definitely too much after only 12 round. Happy to get Dillier and Teuns now. Fingers crossed Dillier makes more of his road racing talent in 2017 compared to this year! |

Papok gone
Ollfahrd with a great steal in Waeytens and a nice gamble pick in Betancur, while Matt might be the winner of these rounds 9-12. Also a great pick by roturn in Robert Power if he recovers and Ryan Mullen in this late round.
Concerning me I'm very happy, got my picks #1-#4 all in the four rounds.
current 2017 Roster
1. | Julian Alaphilippe | | Quick Step Floors | Ardennes & 1-week tours | 2. | Jakob Fuglsang | | Astana Team | Tour de France & 1-week tours | 3. | Robert Gesink | | Lotto-NL Jumbo | 1 week tours & hilly classics | 4. | Lilian Calmejane | | Direct Energie | Coupe France & short hilly tours | 5. | Nikias Arndt | | Sunweb - Giant | Vuelta & .HC/.1 sprint stages | 6. | Benat Intxausti | | Team Sky | HC/.1 hard tours | 7. | Anthony Turgis | | Cofidis | Coupe France & .HC/.1 hills | 8. | Pim Ligthart | | Roompot | .HC/.1 classics | 9. | Leigh Howard | | Aqua Blue | CT Sprints | 10. | Maciej Paterski | | CCC Sprandi | CT GCs and hilly 1-day races | 11. | Enrico Battaglin | | Lotto-NL Jumbo | hilly .HC/.1 classics | 12. | Vincenzo Albanese | | Bardiani - CSF | Sagan-esque italian CT races |
Achieved the dream of all fantasy league players, getting picks #1-#4 in 4 rounds, but will they be worth it? It depends:
Howard: easily the best of the remaining for me - if he can continue his good tendencies of last season he will have a lot of success in the PCT field, given the fact that he has a strong team including a good leadout where he is the#1 man to work for. I'm really happy to have him.
Paterski: Kind of a gamble guy looking at last season. In my eyes he didn't score well due to a strange racing calendar (many .2 and WT races), where only the 4th at GP Plouay shined out. If he goes back to .HC and .1 races he might well be one of the best PCT scorers, where he could easily score 500+ points in a good season. That said, he's getting older so it's not guaranteed that he has one. But then again, in my eyes it's wort the gamble for a late round 10 pick.
Battaglin: Well another rider that was great in 2015 but has his problems on WT level in 2016. I'm hoping for a good second year and more classics in his calendar, especially talking about the late italian ones, where he could shine again. If he goes mainly on the Europe Tour this season and fits better to his surrondings he could score big time, if he continues to concentrate on WT events and isolates himself then we have a wasted pick here.
Albanese: Gamble. Pure Gamble. This kid is without doupt one of the most talented sprinters when it comes to versatility. The sky (not Team Sky!) is really the limit for him if he takes the right developement, and he might turn out into a nnew Peter Sagan. But can he live up to the hype? And can he be nearly as dominant in his first year in PCT as he was in CT/U23 races? We don't know yet! But chances are there that he might straightaway surprise many towards the end of the season, and what fits that batter than the stacked italian classics calendar at the team that developes one masterpiece after the other. In 2 seasons I expect him to be as strong as Colbrelli was over the last two years, but will he be up to that in his first PCT season 2017 already? Possibly...

| Kenny Elissonde | Team Sky | | Julien Vermote | Team Quick Step | | Igor Anton | Dimension Data | | Luis Angel Mate | Cofidis |
The Spanish love affair continues with two more picks. Will be interesting to see if Elissonde can do anything significant in Sky.

Damned forgot to send in my list for this round, even though I had almost finished it. Sorry roturn.
Luckily my previous list was still long enough. I'm quite happy also with those picks, except for maybe Mancebo who would've moved down the list for this round.
My team so far:
| HENAO MONTOYA Sergio Luis | | CASTROVIEJO NICOLAS Jonathan | | FERNANDEZ ANDUJAR Ruben | | MANCEBO PEREZ Francisco | | NAVARRO GARCIA Daniel | | NIEVE ITURRALDE Mikel | | BENFATTO Marco | | BENNATI Daniele | | BUSATO Matteo | | CARUSO Damiano | | COLBRELLI Sonny | | GATTO Oscar |

Well I only left him out of my list cause I wasn't sure if he'd continue or retire, but yesterday he signed a new contract so he'll score you some decent points surely

Got my top two picks with Jesper Hansen and BrÓ“ndle, so I'm quite happy with this round. I'm obviously hoping that Verona's move to Orica sees some big improvement in his scoring, but not exaclty sure why I put Lieuwe Westra as high as #12 on my draftlist. Don't get me wrong - he's a solid performer who will likely have more freedom at Wanty - but no way he should've been in front of Teuns, Brandao, Geschke, Fedi, Howard, etc.

Don't think I was smart at all this round, some decent picks but missed out on most the talents I wanted.
Van Lergherberg I'm happy with, he could be more than decent and had a nice last season. Kreder is a risk but those Pro-Conti Dutch classics sprinters have a tendency to score points. Pourseyedi I couldn't resist Not really sure what happened to him last season but maybe he'll be back at his past level, if so he'll be worth it. Finally I have no clue what I was thinking getting Sutterlin so early Guess that's what happens when I rush at the end of the list.
Thanks a lot Roturn

Next draft will be 4 rounds (16 - 19).
Spilak23 with first pick as we stopped there in round 15.
The deadline is on Thursday 1st, 3pm CET.
As usual I need your big boards as your pick will be skipped once your remaining list is empty.

#TeamHype has 3 nice additions, Soren Kragh Andersen and Marc Soler Gimenez are ready for their big breakthrough. Guillaume Van Keirsbulck is getting a new chance at Wanty to finaly unlock his full, ICL-ish potential!
Changed my sig, this was getting absurd.

ah there is Ollfardh taking van Keirsbulck right in front of me super happy with Venturini and Bouet though, Coupe France it is this year
Not sure about Alex Kamp though, he stepped down to CT where he might show the potential that could've been spotted at some point last season. He has to share with Guldhammer though, but he has a Top5 CT team on his side. Could turn out both ways.

Picks 1-2-3 for me! Kamna on a good debut year in WT might be huge - and I'm not sure how I didn't notice him till now or others did! Ganna and Consonni in the same situation, if both show their talent I expect them to score more than 200 points. Would be awesome to see Ganna make his best Cancellara impression on the flat or Consonni giving Italy back a pure top puncheur after years.
