So far I never really got a top pick: 4-12 in the first round and 5-8-20 in the second one. I think my team will be very mediocre again, but at least I suceeded to keep my nationality focus from last season again.
A very similar experience to mine. Picks 10 and 14 in the first period, then 5-8-17 in the second so I'm not really happy with the quality of riders so far. I've also re-signed two of my riders from last season which I like since it adds an element of continuity to the game.

Liking the look of my team so far:
1. Zakarin: mainly short tours where he should excel
2. Poels: Will win LBL again and the Giro. Yes he will
3. Gerrans: Okay he can also maybe win LBL
4. Roglic: Needed some time to get used to the pro peloton last year, should be even better this year
5: Geniez: didn't have his best year last year, should be better this year again

Mclay is really nice, being the leading sprinter for a French PCT team is a good way to get points and he should be getting better. Roelandts is a risk I might have got too early, but he's definetly decent with 3rd in MSR this year. Went way too early with Drucker though, I love him as a rider but Mareczko who I also had last season would've been better. Still very happy with those three added to Martin and Kwiatek. Thanks Roturn!

Why when I always look at others riders I think mine picks are hilariously bad? And then I'm doing similar things as always.
1. | | PLANCKAERT Baptiste | Team Katusha - Alpecin | 2. | | VAN GARDEREN Tejay | BMC Racing Team | 3. | | BONIFAZIO Niccolo | Bahrain Merida Pro Cycling Team | 4. | | HALVORSEN Kristoffer | Team Joker - Byggtorget | 5. | | OOMEN Sam | Team Sunweb - Giant |

not sure with Planckaert as first pick, he'll have to prove himself in WT first not to be just a worksheep for Kristoff - every other rider looks very well picked - and with Halvorsen and TVG you made 2 real steals that were high up my order...

Well, if I would not have Planckaert on my list, I would probably get Demare as first pick, with Van Garderen not really in dangerous to not be my second. Why I always look at the scoring and then on the name? |

The draft results yet again below.
Next draft will be 4 rounds (9 - 12).
Ollfardh with first pick as we stopped there in round 8.
The deadline is on Friday 25th, 9am CET. So a bit earlier in morning time as usual but otherwise I wouldn`t be able to make it before next week. Hence you might want to have it done until the evening before to make sure!
As usual I need your big boards as your pick will be skipped once your remaining list is empty.

5/8 Cannondale - Drapac riders now. Surprisingly I got 3 of them this draft and in especially I hope to see Sombrowski repeating his progression of last year, where he was just incredible in the Giro even though CQ wise he lacked some scoring as he wasn`t as strong in the US races.
Unfortunately missed out on Sbaragli, who was my top aim these rounds. But can easily live with Slagter, Craddock, Dombrowski. |

Mildly underwhelming 3 rounds for me, would have really liked to get my top pick Spilak, but of course his homonym wanted him too
Bernal could be huge though, if he continues on the path he started last year, as could Mohoric if he confirms the talent he shows once in every x days. Sepulveda I reckon might be very decent if he doesn't get injured.

Happy to keep De Vreese, with Boom gone he may get cobbles leadership at Astana. Pedersen is a nice addition as well. Wippert is even more unexpected as last pick of R8.
Seems like someone else found Malori, should've added him to the list sooner
Changed my sig, this was getting absurd.

Rushed a lot this time round without much time (thanks Roturn ) Missed quite a few opportunities because of it, didn't even notice Spilak and Bonifazio for example
Still feel pretty good about picks though, Laporte, Buchmann and Bookwalter. Laporte I'm so biased towards but couldn't not have him and if Bouhanni gets injured he could have an amazing season, otherwise he should score decently but not great with lead-outs, so maybe went too early on him
Buchmann is good to have a talent on board, hopefully he progresses into next season, while Bookwalter is more risky, he tends to score many points in the American tours, so with a few of them missing/changing status etc. I don't know how he'll be, still preferred him over one of the 'safe' pro-conti picks who should score a similar amount as last season, even though I don't feel like I have enough of them compared to last season atm.
My squad so far now, regret the lack of regional focus but feeling pretty good about this
Michał Kwiatkowski
Tony Martin
Dan Mclay
Jürgen Roelandts
Jempy Drucker
Christophe Laporte
Emmanuel Buchmann
Brent Bookwalter
and of course thanks a lot Roturn!
