Great to see Bochman picking up the KOM points considering how terrible Docker is.

Real shame to see Yates taken out of contention by a crash.
Terasaki sneaks into the top 10 again.
Bumpy bits next

Did not expect that sort of gap on some big names on that kind of stage! Good to see Dowsett jump with the move by De Maar and surprised to see Klemme miss out. 46 seconds is a nice gap with the HTF on the next stage.
Congrats BBL and thanks danny for the report

Forgot to comment after stage 2: Perfect job by Gavazzi winning the stage tailor-made for him.
Barbin made the front group on stage 3 which is very good. He should be able to attack De Maar's lead on stage 4. Should be a great race scoring wise for the team no matter what with Gavazzi and Pavarin also up there

We've got 3 guys a minute down on GC now so we have a few options from that group and hopefully it means that one of them will feel good and be able to secure a nice GC place.
If I had to guess which one I'd expect it to be Hugentobler judging by the results of the 3 of them in the season so far.
If we are lucky then Othman will also have the freedom to continue his KOM chase from a previous stage as well having lost time again on this one.

Ahhh CT, where your position at the end of the season is at least 50% dependant on luck! I mean surely it's an exception for Kraftwerk, that team has been profiting from every single race they had a team in - congrats even though that seems repetitive!
But wow, you gotta feel about how bad Dowsett has been all season up to this point. That was totally a -5 there, no other explanation. Thanks for the great reports to sgdanny!

Obviously I wish De Maar hadn't cracked so bad today, but in the end I'm satisfied with a top 10 GC and a stage win. It's more than I expected so I can't complain.

what a strange race...the right winner, also a great 2nd for Nieve in the Pais Vasco...but what the fuck was that by de Maar and especially Dowsett? Bad far us additionally that direct opponents Ticos and Sauber gained a lot on us...congrats though!
