Pretty happy with Lundberg's performance here thus far. Not much else to say except some great reporting by Selwink thus far!

Back to back stage wins and leading every category, it doesn't get much better than this! (imagine a banana here)
Hope the crash victims recover for tomorrow, and we avoid any accidents.
Thanks for the reports Selwink.

Woah what a start for Kraftwerk here, huge congratz
Really shame for those who crashed in the finale and especially the favourite Sella, might get hard to claw back those seconds now.
But fun to see those usually secondary riders fighting for top spots in GC here!

But why ?! Well, seeing the gap with Hacecky, Emanuele might not be that injured and could take back the 1'15'' that he lost And great job by Foliforov and Gkazonis, who are putting Elta high in the team ranking
Great stage and report 8)

Impressive stuff there from Sauber. Feel actually sorry for them to not win the stage in the end then.
But seeing Krieger winning his first 2016 stage is pretty cool obviously. Next year will be leadout mainly as by now Swift 84 and Groenewegen 82 will be stronger surely. So seeing him getting a good result for La Poste is nice as the sprinter field in the CT this year didn`t allow him that many so far. |

Can't be unhappy with another top 10 by Boonen. With his 73 acceleration i can't expect much from him in these pure field sprints, but he's held up nicely. He at least seems to be in better shape for future classics.

Congratulations to the_hoyle for the win and sammyt for 3 in the top7, a stage win must come eventually.
Good to see Stauff targeting the points jersey.
Fingers crossed for tomorrow's deciding stage for the GC battle barring accidents or strong winds.

Wow, I always knew we had a strong train but I couldn't have predicted it would be that strong, just a shame that Salleh couldn't quite finish it off in the head to head. That said it is his first season as a Sprint Leader so it might just be down to experience and the nerves of racing in front of his home crowd making him go a bit too early.
I'm surprised no break was formed today, I guess there were just too many teams wanting a sprint as surely someone would have wanted to give it a go.
Kung didn't lose any time today but the fact he was last rider in when he was supposed to be a GC threat is still worrying as I'd have thought he'd be protected and finish fairly high up the pack. Unfortunately it only serves to strengthen my theory that he is riding on injured after his crash on Stage 3.

There were literally 0 attempts after that first intermediate sprint, if I recall correctly the pace wasn't even monstrous, but it was just nobody attacking.

Now that's what I'm talking about! Great work from Krieger to take the Sauber train and then take the victory. Happy to see him break his duck in the sprints this season.
I do feel sorry for Sammy who was so close to a home win and was so strong at the end.
Thanks for the report selwink and thanks for posting matt

Very sad to see the top 10 slip out from under here, but once Lundberg missed the first move and originally the peloton, I assumed as much would happen.
Hopefully Boonen can gather us a few more placings in the coming stages. Meanwhile, Azerbaijan should be starting with more of my A-Team. I sent my B-Squad here so i can't be mad that they failed. I just wish Oste-MacDonald had been able to carry Lundberg a little bit more.

Just take a moment to notice how Kraftwerk has had a rider in 2nd place today, is second in the Teams ranking, and leading every and each other classification. Ridiculous amount of points they're getting out of this

It's rare you come across a race and say "This is the exact race where the title was won". Well, this is the exact race where the title was won.
*prays for a horrific turn of events*
edit: well f*ck, that perfect gif won't work... here's an imperfect one instead
