Groenewegen twice not in the mix...he is no top sprinter yet but with 80 he should still do better.
Good for Grieg - Eftel to get a win here though!
Olivier this time in the favourite group and actually was part of the 11 rider big GC men, so can`t complain too much as he was concentrated there.
The TTT now will be awful. Expect me in bottom 5 and 3-4min down I fear. A lot to gain for Olivier on direct opponents then. |

As Avin Wargunnson already mentioned there is no preview of the TTT lineup strength, but I guess we are top-10/top-5 material, on a good day maybe podium.

Well done to Tastasol on the victory on Stage two! A few more splits in the peleton on the run into the finish, so the time gaps make interesting reading on GC

Good to see an uninjured and alert Madrazo stay with the sprinters so long. Would've been awesome if he could've taken his lost minute back here, but it's quite understandable that he wasn't able to follow their pace on this terrain.
Looking forward to the TTT!

Two stages on, nice to see my riders in breaks both days, especially Gallego in Spanish national jersey. Moreover, I like to see Keinath riding attentive, without crash and time loss so far. Unfortunately with TTT coming he´s gonna slip down in general classification a lot.
Thanks for great reporting sgdanny, I´m curious if you manage to post every stage at the same time until end
Congrats to knockout and tastasol for stage wins.

Good to see Henao staying out of trouble so far.
With the sprinters' startlist here way weaker that in any other race Van Poppel has been involved so far, I expect more than a ninth place form him.

What's the 20.00 thing Danny? Why? Why?!?
Great race so far for us, currently the highest of the GC riders. If it stays together among the frontrunners tomorrow (unlikely) it could be pink.

A really good TTT considering our team for it was dreadful but still not the end of the world a good few days in the break would be good now to help steadily bring in points |

Thanks for the report sgdanny! I just expected a little shot of ITT World champion jersey of Pluchkin, but nevermind,we will have second (and last) chance at Vuelta - of course i expect pink instead during later stage this Giro.
I am quite disappointed with our 4th place today, especially as Zmorka is clearly injured from his crash, finishing far far away from his team and you think we would win if our 82TT guy was okay. But hey, still great position to strike from Pluchkin, now the main goal is to gain 5 seconds on Nibali tommorow, grab pink and never look back please...
Congrats DD, at least some consolation for the unlucky first stage.

A TTT. As a team that had two of the 3 worst finishers in Herbiers I'm just glad nobody missed the time limit. Getting a screenshot is more than I ever imagined from this stage.
A Big Thank You To All MG Reporters!

That was damage limitation mode better than I could possibly have hoped for A day in pink (yellow) is huge, and adds to a brilliant start of the race from Holst Enger. Also good to see Guldhammer be one of the five guys stopping the clock at +30, as it should mean he isn't injured.
Congratulations to DD! Somewhat vital for Madrazo to gain back a little bit of the unnecessary time loss earlier. And thank you for another :00 report, sgdanny. Guess we're keeping it this way all the way to Rome? |

A nice convenience for a long race wacko
@ember : Well the start has been more entertaining than this years Tour de France, so who is to complain about that?

Nice result considering the quality of my TTT squad. Great to see Howard 3rd overall and König quite nicely as well.

You sneaky bastard
11th for us if I can count correctly and Nerz&Felline seem to be fine, so I take this.
Seems like going specifically for a TTT lineup in transfers isn't that much worth it imo if gaps are this small.

Good TTT for us, positions Kwiatkowski well. I'm hopeful he can put together a decent GC here with a bit of luck. |

Somewhat fitting to return from Italy to the MG Giro, to try and get back into MG following mode again.
It's a kind GC field for Suaza and a Top 15 would be amazing. Him and Solis appearing as GC favourites isn't the best reflection on a race Merino Criado already has a Top 10 which is as good as could be hoped for, and perhaps Gastauer can grab some luck in the hills.
Would be nice to see Cattaneo going well on max stats, and hopefully a close fight for victory.

Not the best of TTTs, hopefully the riders took some rest after a couple of hard days. With Guarnieri losing the GC lead, it's great to have Holst Enger taking it over. Once a former rider, and we always cheer for the Norwegians Congrats on that ember, and congrats to DD on the stage.
