I thought that only had an influence on simuled races? Either way, not gonna lose any points Pfft

I am not 100% sure.

But when doing couple tests now, a rider that was "leader" in the "sprint" version, then was used for chasing early for his cobbled leader in the "cobble" version.

So I think AI definitely changes with the icon.

Completely agree with the decision to re-run the race in it's proper format teams having guys start as their leaders who really shouldn't be could be a huge problem. The AI typically only protects its leader, and in a 250km race where stamina is a huge factor, having the wrong guy protected is a pretty big problem.

4th is much much better Smile Thanks for the re-run roturn.

Avin Wargunnson
We were quite a lot worse in the re-run, but still a good decision in general, thanks roturn. Congrats to Bewley, again. Grin

Nolf should be better in Roubaix, where hills are a non factor.
I'll be back

tsmoha
Thanks for that, roturn!

Not quite what I was hoping for, but at least a Top-5 and also Verbist did wwell this time. A pity Burghardt missed the key moves. Bewley sucks anyway Pfft

FroomeDog99
Vandenbergh 60th.. at least we had someone in the break.

What a surprise, Bewley wins again. Thanks for the report.

Btw. Boroš with 75 cobbles and 72stamina finishing 14th in De Ronde is quite (un)funny - i guess the old stuff when the pulling domestiques are able to finish in front of much better specialists/leaders (Nolf, Vanmarcke, Gusev...) is still in the game. Smile

And i doubt stamina even matters at all.
I'll be back

I prefer 6th 8th 16th over the first attempt, I wish Blythe could've followed an attack but that is great points in a monument and somewhat makes up for MSR. And 66 hill certainly hurts him the most in de Ronde of all races.

Thanks a lot roturn for helping out quickly and congratzzzzZZZZZzzzz Roman.

Not as good as the previous one for Valbilsen, but what does it matter. Just a shame I can't brag about that 2nd place in my HQ Wink
Changed my sig, this was getting absurd.

OlegTinkov
So apparently Gusev is better as sprinter than cobbler Sad

Great ride from Trentin. Rowe also delivering very good, and even the good old man Gert Steeurs showed he was alive today Smile More or less the same points for 7th and 20th and 9th and 14th, so no real difference for me in the re-run. A pity about Wisniowski crashing, but you can't have it all.

Was a great race and report from Roturn. And well, no one is surprised to see Bewley winning. Congrats Roman Smile Surprising to see Summerhill so quiet here and then Bewley is always winning a sprint like that.

Aaand Bewley wins anyway. Van Avermaet is an awesome rider and would have won this easily with his stats but he has no chance to beat Bewley in these occasions, can't even say he needs to wait for the Kiwi to decline cause he's older Pfft

Thanks to roturn for chiming in so quick and congrats to Roman for the nth time Pfft

Wow, I'm impressed it actually went better for me in the re-run Grin

Lampaert finally showing himself. Also, future race winner in 31st.

Tom David went from 41st to 14th - Much more like he should with 78COB and 75HI so I'm happy with the re-run (Obviously). I feel very bad for those losing a lot here, though... Having already done the points control myself I know that some lost a lot - Most lost little or even won because the PCT teams were significantly worse this time around.

Good decision to rerun it, I think. Congratulations again, Roman!

Kristoff just about the same, and nice to see Breen up there as well. He must have been on a great day, also contributing to the chase when Kluge, David, Kristoff, Breen, Sbaragli, Lampaert joined the first group, I assume.

Good to see BPost getting paid for their strength in numbers with Vanspeybrouck's podium finish. Six riders top 42 is quite something.

Also a brilliant race for Puma-SAP with 6th, 8th and 16th. And you really know it has been great for them when cio93 almost doesn't complain at all after the race Pfft

Thanks a lot for the quick rerun roturn!
(also thanks roro for the initial report. It was a great report as well!)

I'm very glad that the rerun didn't hurt my team's point scoring. 2nd is basically exactly what I aimed for and while achieving the win goal would have been nice that was always going to be difficult with Bewley in a rival team...

Meersman proves (in both 1sr and rerun) that he was a hidden gem available on the last day of transfers Smile

" Van Avermaet though also with a fantastic result for the Evonik team and it`s not a big surprise at this time of the year to see those two teams fighting for the PT crown. "
This sentence still sounds hilariously wrong to me. It's time for some GT racing to shake things up at the top of the rankings and get my team away from the top. Otherwise the disappointment will be too large when this fantastic series of results stops and some managers might think my team is a true top 5 contender Pfft
A Big Thank You To All MG Reporters!

Congratulations to Roman. It's fun to watch a MG legend like Bewley win the big races and add to his legacy (especially since I don't have to race him!)

You should have quoted the full text. Wink

The 2nd sentece says exactly this.

Though the season is still long and the GTs will change a lot still.

Your team is some historical GT low. So I wouldn`t be surprised to see you out of top5 but inside top10 in the end. Wink

Veelers before rerun: 40th. Veelers after rerun: 37th.

The guy has an AVG of 76 (which is more than Kangert, Monfort and Furdi), but by now it's pretty safe to conclude that he sucks. Next season it's going to be 50k wage or GTFO. Angry

[broken_record]Congrats to Bewley and Roman![/broken_record]
And thanks for the reports roro & roturn.

Can we please lower Bewley's stats? Pfft Oh well, congrats again. It's as boring and predictable as Armstrong in Tour de France, but I'm pretty sure Roman doesn't care Pfft

Liked seeing my Orange boys in front of the peloton, and Kamyshev actually did well too. Stuck to the front groups and wheel-sucked as much as possible. His bad sprinting skills hurt him again, but won't complain too much about 11th.
