What a form Team Ticos air is in Atm Everything seems to be going their way atm, huge congratz Ste!!
Another puncheur race without the top-top names animating the first spots, thinking this will be a trend this season in CT.

What not expecting this, what a day for the team with DLC in the Middle East too
Fantastic report, thought when reading it Possoni was going to get caught.

That was a bit of a strange race, but quite interesting too.
Seeing a break win (when you're no in the race) is always fun, congrats Ste! and thanks for the fantastic report The Rider!

You had the 35th-40th best puncheur in here with Ole Scandinavianlongsurname and 75th-80th with Toerckler, did you expect anything more?
Ole Scandinavianlongsurname no more.
What a result!

Possoni is an absolute steal, whoever sold him for 50k must be a huge fucking idiot
But seriously that performance - and AI, as well as entire race - made no sense. I'm happy I've sold him to CT where he could have his last great hurrah after a decent season for us
Congrats Ste, thanks for the spicy report Rider!

Another performance like this and it will be the best 50k I have ever spent and to think I was 50/50 on buying him

That could have gone better for us, I thought that if Othman and Schurter weren't up to it I would at least have seen Hugentobler try and attack but instead we just sat back and failed to follow when it came down to it.
If we weren't going to be strong enough then it would have been nice to see us get a man in the break, especially if it was one of the home riders but in the end we were far too anonymous for a home race.

Riders that can't score 50 points in a season are sold for 50k, Possoni is already well past that with 2/3 of the season to go

Great couple of days for Ticos Air. Also thanks TR for the many reports over the past days
De Leon surprising in fourth but managed to sneak into the right break. Milan in sixth shows he's one of the better climbers of the puncheurs.

PUBLIC APOLOGY
Kraftwerk Man Machine management would like to apologise to Domenik Klemme for the poor support he got in this race that allowed the break to stay away.
Well done Ste for taking full advantage of our mis-management.
Another great report from The Rider - really excellent quantity and quality, only problem is I haven't written my March preview yet

Thanks guys, glad you liked it!
MARS - No like preview?
D2B - Yeah, you probably did have the strength to bring it back (though it was a good break) it's just the big teams looked at each other. (I say this with the memory of an elephant as this race was played over a month ago! )
Ste is on a golden period with this AND the Middle East! |
