Congrats ember! EBH seems to be in some form this year!

Unfortunetely Vakoc still showed absolutely nothing here. At least he was able to keep himself in the peloton. A try for a breakaway would be more appreciated though.

Such a great effort from Koretzky here, almost landing him a stagewin over a much better rider. Great job. Also putting a few more seconds on the account before the very difficult stage 6 is nice, as I really fear that he will lose A LOT of ground there. Fingers are crossed for a +5 day for him to stay in 6th.

So far this race has been very nice, although I'm sad we haven't won a stage being this close so often.

Race to forget. The sooner race is over the better for me.

Congrats ember, nice win.

Losing time on Hagen and Koretzky was not ideal as they are just behind De Bie.

Apparently De Bie took a day off after yesterdays effort, same for Boom. Instead Schachmann won the sprint for 4th. Wink

Off-day for Kangert. Sad Surprisingly he didn't drop out of the top 15 in GC though. So there's still hope he'll score some decent points.

Fantastic race for Sinkeldam!

A real shame Boswell lost time in the fourth stage. Judging by today's rider, he could have had a real shot for the top 10.

Hope I'm allowed to come with my own feeling about this stage

Spoiler
Was an enormous joy to see Evonik really dominate the day and fantasitc result from Poljanski today going into the Top 30 while not being maxed, just awesome.

PS on paper there were a Hil/MO ration on the stage, even though the result doesn't showcase that. So seems the crash was the end for Nibali here.

Nice try by Koren! Also decent results by Kangert and Monfort.

Painfull stuff for Nibali, but thanks to the huge gap he had he's still in a good GC spot. Cool to see Skujins and Evonik do well; congrats.

Great fighting from EBH on another mountainous hilly stage, ending the stage only centimeters from another win and thus an overall podium. Though, with Machado and Nibali both likely to be injured in the crash where also EBH was involved, it wouldn't have been nice to pass any of them in the GC.

Considering how stage 4 went, I'm very happy with the final result from EBH, and he has also looked strong on the hills.

Congratulations on the overall win, Oleg, assuming nothing extraordinary happens on the final stage, which I suspect a breakaway will take. Also congratulations on the stage win to you, knockout.

Is the hill/mountain ratio possible to change in PCM15? If yes, I thought it should be changed to a ratio where only the hill stat mattered/a ratio where the hill stat mattered as much as possible considering the stages (4 & 6) were rated hilly. That has at least been done with mountain stages in earlier seasons when the ratio has been wrong compared to the profile rating.

Wow, just got up with the reports. I didn't expect to have a go at the podium, but Machado really delivered.

Great racing too, but this hillmountain ratio thing will be much disputed me thinks

As expected, this has been a rather quiet race for us after the prologue. Nice to be in most of the breaks though, with Willie Smit the highlight with his 3rd place in KoM at the moment.

Exciting race so far, with many deserved winners. Here is to hoping that Trentin can do anything tomorrow Pfft

Thanks for the reports so far, sgdanny. Great pace and quality, both here and Paris-Nice.

This. Not only did Skujins a fantastic job but the rest of the team did a great job with especially Siskecicius on a fantastic GC spot but also guys like Poljanski doing very well. Grin
I like to be in the break as well but as much as I like Stoltz as an attacker this was no stage suited for him.
A Big Thank You To All MG Reporters!

Another good ride from Bobridge. Too bad he had that awful gap in the mountainous stage. Close one for the points jersey, unlucky to come short here, but of course EBH aain't a nobody Wink

Congrats to Ember aswell for the win on the previous stage! EBH very unfotunate here to miss the podium though.

Fuck's sake lads, something needs to be done about this crash thingy next year - too late now I guess.

Expected Trofimov to make up those 5 minutes, but didn't think he would do it in such a way. Gratz ember and KO for the stage wins.

I would like to heavily disagree, everybody who knows a tiny bit about the ratio (and the game) will have been aware while planning that these stages are likely to be very close to 0.5 and therefore nothing for di Maggio, just like Gilbert would be nowhere on such profiles irl.

IF we alter the ratio artificially for stages like this, it needs to be announced before planning that any hilly stage is 0 ratio.
I specifically put Bongiorno into this race and Kelderman into Grand-Duché because this was somewhat going to suit Bongiorno and not suit Kelderman, and the result proves me right. This is part of the planning intricacies and maybe one point where experience comes into play (and we need those in the MG imo).

Well. No matter what we need to know. This is not PCM, it's the Man-Game, and we all need to know what the basics of the game are.

I dont know anything about the game anymore, but I do know a fair bit about the Man-Game, and to be honest I feel like we need to tell people if the mechanics are changing, whether or not it is deliberate. If I have to buy the game to see what K have to do, then I will either do that or skip this game, but unless I am told to, I expect the game to be treated and tested like any other versions, and that if anything is found or changed, all should know.

There is no point in trying to make things as equal as possible with wages and such, if those people having the game will benefit from knowing exactly which stats are suiter, while the rest are just randomly Gjessing based on previous results...

Koretzky did well on all stages, but less on the tough stages. This, I feel is common sense, as he is not aiming the 5-7 best puncheurs, but on less tough stages he can use his sprint to level the deficit. But if the mechanics are not like this, I feel extremely lucky, and would have planned otherwise had I known - Perhaps even trained otherwise!!!

Also - there are too many crashes to my likings. I have had 5 so far, and we are just getting started. Those are the mentioned once. I think only good riders are mentioned, it would feel weird if only important riders crash.
