1'29 is quite possible to catch for the next days, so overall happy with this TT. Bialoblocki was not even close, so that sucks a bit and hope he will do better in the future TT's. Overall the GC is not lost and that is the positive thing here

Bibby continues to disappoint here. Hope he can hang on to a top 15, with Bellis going for a top 5 and the points jersey. |

Not the best day in the saddle for Costa here, luckily it was the same case for LLS so Costa could still catch the GC-lead.
Froomedog closer than I'd have liked after a pretty strong TT from him here. Making it tough to defend the GC-lead, hopefully Costa gives him a run for his money.
(Either way its a win-win if Costa or Froome wins, as I've bet on froome. )
Salas improves a bit from the prolouge, but still not as strong as I'd want him, were hoping he could grab a podium in this field.

Underwhelming TT for us. I was hoping to see Oliveira break into the top10. Only a surprise will get us anything extraordinary out of this race.
Anyway it's always fun to see a couple of former riders of mine fighting for the victory here. Froome needs a good dig at the remaining couple of hilly stages if he is to make a charge for the win.

Good to lose only a small amount to Costa, Froome staying in range though is slightly disappointing, Sanchez is still well positioned though, don't expect the win but would be hard not to get a podium now so pretty happy.
Thanks for the great report Roturn!

Hmm, this was disappointing yet again. Looking forward to see if we can do anything on tomorrows stage.
Cheers roturn for a good TT-report! |

Slightly disappointing from Paillot again, though this time on the level I could expect at least. 1 second short of the youth jersey as well so that will be interesting to follow.
I always knew Jukka would lose the lead today but having him on 3rd in the GC at this point is brilliant!
5 stages and 6 top 6-finishes including a win and 3 podiums isn't too shabby from a race where I was only expecting anything from the TT's

Wow! Nice TT by Zardini compared to the top GC guys, he's really growing into this race. Hope he can keep his cool and don't blow up trying to stay with the very best.
Gratz to Kwok and Meiji! Turned out the TT-specialist dominated by far where I would've guessed the GC-guys could've more impact.

Nepo decent enough, Hutarovich extends the gap to the second last guy, Prevar not too terrible and with Konovalovas we have 3 guys in the top 20

Ah, coming thick and fast here!
S2: - The best ever sprint train from a TR team in the MAN GAME. Mino - super. Santos - Fantastic. Castaneda (released perfectly with 1.2 KM to go) - Fail...
Roglic has rode the ideal race up until now: 4th is more than we could have expected - ever. A big big gap back to the bottom of the top 10 now, that's good, hard stage 6 to come though. |

Not much from my team Oba and Sai-Udomsin trying for the breaks and scoring some KoM points. Quaade as 13th in the TT didn't suck as much as I expected. |

Van Winden's overperforming makes me soooo happy. I didn't expect him to top 5 here because of his res, but oh boy did he prove me wrong. It might have been some lucky circumstances with wind etc. but this still makes our race much better than how it had to be.
Big gratz valv! And thanks for the reports roturn!

Stage 2 - Yeah, a 2nd place, highest finish of the season so far!
Stage 3 - Bad day overall, no one in the front groups and Kuboki abandoning
Stage 4 - We did basically nothing.
Stage 5 - Woooo, Kwok with a win! Would have been awesome if Kuboki was here still, I think he would have been able to get a Top 10 as well! Definitely salvages this race for us though!

Kwok? Good to see him win the TT and congrats to Meiji. Costa's race to lose from here.

Who TF is Kwok TT's random conditions ae meh really ... but justifies my reason for getting rid of Coppel a couple of years back.
Two big hilly days left and Froome bot needs to get himself charged up so to speak. Stage 6 looks the classic all on last climb push possibly a bit of MO in there?

YEESSSSSSSSSSSSS NICE!!!
Really strong performance, I'm pretty sure Froome did his best today, just that Costa did not disappoint either is why we're so far behind still. This really sets the stage for tomorrows stage and fingers crossed for another attack there.
Really happy with the result and considering the route 2nd place might be just perfect

Well there was definitely no mountain stat in that hill. Can't say I'm not disappointed as he definitely shouldn't have lost too much time today, now he won't make the podium.
Thanks for the report Roturn.
