this has resulted in a huge loss for road cycling () as Theo Bos has decided to return to track cycling. (already winning the national sprint title beating Jeffrey Hoogland, current european champion)

Mark Cavendish has revealed he is targeting the yellow jersey in France (I assume after the first stage and not at the end of 3 weeks ), Olympic gold medal and the world road race championship this season.
Don't think he really has the legs to achieve any of them, based on the last couple of seasons, but I guess we'll see how close he'll get once the season starts.
How do you think the Olympics will affect racing schedules this season?
Michael Boogerd is banned for 2 years and his palmares from 2005-2007 is deleted.
While this is basically past, it also influences his contract with Roompot as he is no longer allowed to be DS with them now.
In other news Emmanuel Buchmann extended his contract with Bora until the end of 2018 which is great for the team.
They also look to become WT in 2017.
I wonder if he goes there with ambitions. If so, then this is great and of course horrible for any other team as Ettix was superior already without him.
