I'm happy that Eddie Stobart will have riders competing Wink

Why is Vorobev not in Russia TTT?

Because he wasn't selected?

Really I thought he and Kovalev were selected for TTT right?

Quite a pity that the Dutch U23 team is that weak. Only 3 helpers for Olivier, which is not ideal against strong Aussie and France teams.

A clear sign that the Netherlands need lots of U23 riders added. Pfft

Mate, Belgium doesn't even have enough U23 riders to get its own team Pfft

My main hope was to have most of the Belgian RR team, and it seems that I've done that, which is hardly a surprise given that I'm trying to hoard all of the climbing talent from there.

Really like the Swiss U23 squad, hope some of these guys show their talents... and Schir supports Kung better than at l'Avenir.

This should be great, we haven't had a mountainous WC for a while. I just hope Machado doesn't take the win here, otherwise He won't be able to get me my so dsired NC Grin

Great job on the preview, looking forward to the reports Wink

Nice to have quite a few riders in each race seeing the Canadians at all in the B worlds and guys popping up here and there in the rest will satisfy Grin

I'm just hoping that one of my riders does something noteworthy in one of the events.

I'll also be interested to see how Paolo Scarponi fares in the B worlds.

Looking forward to this, glad to have made some of the teams, hoping Dombrowski gets in the mix. Good luck to all and thanks for doing this Smile

Well Im hoping Shikai and Ji can light it up in the B worlds, Shirota in the U23 is nice too! No real aspirations but wouldn't mind a bit of luck! Best of luck to everyone else!

Didn`t even notice this yet.
Even bigger shame in especially after Frison won it last year.

So also Alak`s point that Netherlands/Belgium is basically one does no longer count then. Pfft

I havent voted for these two personally, and gave upper hand to Kolesnikov and Belkov, given the profile of TTT Oleg. Wink

Anyway, seeing the discussion about dutch and belgian youngsters, i agree that U23 startlist is nice indicator of relative strenght in numbers of respective teams. Ukraine hardly placed three riders and only one of them is 61+ in climbing. Whole eastern european area is tragic when it comes to U23 climbers, when i browse through startlist.

That comment from Smowz! We feel offended and are thinking about lawsuit with those angel makers. Cool

Well, at least I have Milos (Boris) Borisavljevic coming through the ranks from Serbia. He will be eligible for the U23 races for a couple of seasons still. Hopefully will max around age 24 as well so someone, if not me, will be able to train him. And I guess that is close to Eastern Europe, maybe not?

Yeah, i know about Borisaljevic, he is one of the better "eastern" youngsters climbing wise, being a nice exception from the trend. There are also others like Dzhus, Vosekalns, Potocki, Sakalou, Robov, Foliforov or Bablidze, that is pretty much it, speaking about guys who can be 76+ mountains as maxed, but none of them 78+ iirc. Of course all guys on this list are closely monitored by our scouts. Smile

It's not like there are lots of U23 climbers from other areas Wink In general, we're low on U23 riders having not added many in the recent season or two.

All about the road races in the Worlds for me. Berhane for the B race, Andy for the main event. Probably the best remaining chance for a Schleck World Champion and it's all in from Luxembourg - sacrificing Kirsch' medal chance at U23 level. TTT/TTs are going to be interesting too, given the mountainous nature of the TTT, and less than straight forward ITT given how it starts. Pleased to see the likes of Medvedev, Suaza and Kittel making the selections for their races.

B Worlds already started and report to follow when all riders have finished. Pfft

Check the sorted startlist above. Any guesses, which team(s) is/are going to be the dominant one and who is going to be on the podium?

Lofkvist/Berhane battle would be awesome Wink Would also be cool to see Bennett in the mix, but it seems to be Guldhammer's race to lose. Looking forward to the action, thanks in advance!

Going for a outside bet in Samwel. After a poor season a win by him would only be fitting.

Guldhammer wont handle the pressure. Kiser to round off the podium.
