Bacardi losing ground is certainly not good for Evonik.
It feels so wrong to cheer for an inactive and against two active teams.
A Big Thank You To All MG Reporters!

Join the club though Movistar is one of my Fav PT teams so i'm happy they are staying up at the moment
For one of us it's not going to matter though |

One last chance for Ponzi to claim another win this season. Get me the ever elusive Lombardi title. Quite good result here, but I had hoped for more splits for the TTists. I guess that's the way it plays out with a flat stage first.
Thanks for the reports!

Nice we made our presence felt and carry our first PT-jersey back home. Good opportunity for Di Maggio to get in shape for the season finale in Japan. Adding the Tour Down Under victory and recently red-hot Patrick Lane Vontobel could be a coming brand in Australia.
Thanks for the reports, trekbmc!

Wow more then I expected -> stage win and 2nd in GC!
btw what happened to the bonus seconds in stage 3?!?!?! Shouldn't Trofimov and Hagen have the same overal time (Hagen still would be first I quess if you look at stage rankings 8-1-3 vs 13-7-1).
Thanks for the reports!

Trofimov beasts the TT and yet, he didn't even get picked to ride the Worlds ITT for Russia.
Ignatiev is better in a stand alone ITT, but in a stage race, after a hilly stage it is quite logical that Trofimov has a better recovery

Stage 3 is a ITT. So there are no bonus seconds. |

There are no time bonuses in TTs Oleg.
Are you kidding me, those results? I mean one flat stage and one moderate hilly stage are so tiring for professional cyclists, that it justifies some of the best TTists to suck completely? I understand that in 21days long stage race, but in three days race???
Coppel 22nd, Zmorka 61st? WTF? EBH third with 72 TT? Oh gosh, TTists are already hindered by the climbing heavy oriented calendar or no time bonuses and on top of that, they are beaten by puncheurs in the pan flat TT.
Thanks for the reports trek, but i would rather pull my eyes out, then seeing one more PCM14 dice roll decided TT.
I dont even care about Lombardia now, let this madness be over...

Thanks for reports trek and SN for quick update.
Congrats to ember for another stage race win and SN for PT crown (for 99%).
Two guys in TOP10 is nice result, I´m very pleased with Izagirre´s performance during whole race. With Roche, it´s always up and down, this time up. As mentioned earlier, I´m not surprised by another failure of my sprinters. Especially Stauff don´t deserve his wage at all, he was useless in almost every race he participated. Pity he´s German, otherwise I woudn´t hesitate to fire him after season.
8th before Lombardia is pretty much secured, gaps between both 7th-8th/8th-9th seem to be too big to overcome. Actually, not bad result after giving up of my focus on cobble classics.

Well, to be fair: Tasmania TT ain't exactly pan flat. Which should not prevent Coppel from doing better than that though
Looks like Oz will eventually achieve three goals then. Which is pretty good. Too bad we missed that very possible stage-win at the Giro.. Forgot to say thanks for the reports here (and of course all others, who kept a great pace in those final weeks/months of the calendar)! It's been a pleasantly fast season afterall.

Thanks for the reports trek - great job . I guess Cunego is in Lombardia, so we're heading for a last place finish - but next time we're in Australia we'll have a top favourite, so roll on 2016 |

Truly some funny results in TT, but well, the winner is totally deserved, congrats ember. No surprise with results of my team, Sergent's GC result is about right. Top 3 places in PT are almost decided now too, Movistar are looking good to survie as well. But well really happy with my team finishing in top 3 and so 4/5 of my goals done. Thanks for reports.

Maybe slightly odd TT result, especially with riders like Coppel failing, but not too unexpected considering the hilly stage before.
Important result for Movistar, Volkswagen and Bacardi look doomed now. Cant see they catch up to Movieboys now.
Title for SN looks pretty much sealed now, congratz! Gaustauer with another great race is slightly surprising.

Congrats to EBH and Aker - MOT, just holding off superman Yuri Trofimov.
Delighted with Tony Martin in 15th, I was hoping for a top 20 beforehand, so this is an excellent result

Well, I did get one of the three predicted stage wins which was one more than I really expected Schreurs invisible as always, OKish by Sicard.
Either way it doesn't change much overall. Just happy to have survived |
