Thanks for the quick update.
I like that the gap to Kärcher expanded but it still is possible to overtake us with a single superb HC classic so my season ain't over yet!

Only tree races untill the end of the season..

Milano - Torino : Haussler
Giro dell'Emilia : McEvoy; Vakoc
Tour of Beijing : Kupfernagel; Vakoc

It will not be easy to overcome you, but the goal is to stay in the top10

Well at least we're in a survival spot at the moment. That gap to COC at the moment could be the difference. Really need Bouhanni to do well there! I think I have Herrada and one of my other decent climbers there so time for them to step up Wink

Well, 526 points on the first theoretical non-promotion spot and even 687 points on the first practical one...September was one heck of a month for us, probably the best scoring month in our history.

Out of interest, what have you got left cio? I only really have some hilly classics where Zingle is my leader, so I'm going to need a little bit of luck to take over you if you have a few races left.

Hmmm, yeah I feel that you might have the top 3 wrapped up then unless I get some luck along the way.

Looking good.

Last 4 races for us:

Milano - Torino: Ben Nasser & Kwiatkowski
Paris - Tours: Impey
Beijing: Kwiatkowski
Japan: Ben Nasser

Maybe an outside chance of a podium with a few great results. Let's go!

Rheden was good for us, Plouay not. Managed to increase our pprd, so happy with that. Looks like it will be somewhere between 7th and 9th place at the moment. Relatively much closer to Karcher though, but the win from Intxausti surely moved RBC a bit closer.

Paris-Tours seems like the wild card for me now, should be scoring decently from the others.

Our remaning races and captains:

Milano-Torino: Levarlet, Juul-Jensen
Paris-Tours: Docker, Trentin
Emilia: Levarlet, Juul-Jensen
Beijing: Levarlet, Juul-Jensen
Japan: Meyer

Still annoys me that I managed to tick Dempster in those two last races, when I meant to choose HaasRolling Eyes

I feel kinda bad for surging up so late and pushing you out of your once-comfortable top 3 position...you'd definitely deserve it too.

Yup, if you can keep up in our common races, you'll basically have a "free" Beijing to try and catch up.

yay, nearly 100 points worse than anyone else Frown

Is the season over yet? no, we've still got 3 more races to go? I don't know if I want to do well in them and end my PCT season on a high or suck badly to make renewals cheaper. Is there any way to do both?

Margh Norway
Thanks for the frequent ranking updates. Is really appreciated during the exciting last weeks of this season!

Looks like we may can add another PCT season, but we better score the coming races as long as our top 20 standing goal isn't impossible to reach, too. If Di Maggio can remember how to win a hilly classic (like Milano-Turino, Emilia or Japan) we may make good leap in the rankings.

jt1109
We keep getting closer and closer but we are very much hitting the line now and we need to score a big one still Intxausti win managed to make up for rheden zero pointer

I'll update on Torino and Emelia in this thread, since they were pretty much out at the same time. Last update was in Paris-Tours thread, if anyone missed it.

Puma are suddenly in with a chance of the PCT title after moving up to 2nd. Kelderman alone cannot win them the title in Japan, but if he can win then it would be a case of his support vs Aegon's best, which could be very close indeed. Gazelle hardly enjoyed the Italian classics but still have Beijing - and a strong performance in there will keep them in the mix.

Bpost and Kenya Airways look set for 4th and 5th, while Evonik are pulling clear in 6th. That leaves a fight for 7th, that could be very important if Bacardi survive in PT but then disband. And now there is just 6 points in it, with RBC really closing in on Karcher.

The relegation fight is getting closer and closer. 7 points separates Euskaltel and Chernobyl, with only 8 more to Lululemon. 1 survival place remains for those 3 - probably - Siam Cement are edging away after a particularly fortunate result in Torino.

Elsewhere McCarthy's win edges them back past Eritel, Vontobel leap up 3 spots to 20th, and cycleYorkshire are back ahead of Eddie Stobart.

Oh Boy oh boy oh boy this is going to be close we full circled with Risa to a point where they are behind us nearly the same they were in front before and just 7 points to Karcher will be watching their results like a hawk now,

Can I please report Japan Cup? Pfft

Prevar has to do well in Beijing, tbf I cannot really see Bulgaria passing us, and Euskaltel should be within strinking distance, as could Siam still be. Staying up would be deserved I guess, but relegating would be a good oppurtunity to rebuild the team.

As expected really. Have been underperforming in our latest races. Still have a race left on Karcher and RBC, but starting to look hard. Top 10 looks secure though, need to be happy with that.

We're not ready for a lucky promotion anyway, if a 7th would lead to that.

Bikex
It'd be a huge shame if we'd go down. Both Euskaltel and COC could likely still catch up to my team, as I have no strong riders in my remaining two races. Wang needs to take his momentum from Milano - Torino and score us some points in Beijing and Japan.
