Copenhagen – Malmö TTT
Just shy of 60 kilometres this team time trial from Copenhagen to Malmö will be a true test for the strongest teams, the only hill on the route has been of little consequence in the past and isn’t too significant.
Team | TT | Average | Top 5 Average | Leader | Oz Cycling Project | 81-81-79-78-78-78-77-77 | 79 | 79 | Durbridge | Festina-Canal+ | 83-79-78-78-75-70-69-68 | 75 | 79 | Coppel | Aegon - Lavazza | 80-78-78-76-75-74-74-74 | 76 | 77 | Schädlich | Metinvest-Dacia | 80-80-76-76-75-75-74-73 | 76 | 77 | Ignatiev | Becherovka - Petrof | 80-77-77-76-76-74-74-72 | 76 | 77 | Sergent | Swisscom - UBS | 79-78-77-75-75-74-74-70 | 75 | 77 | Dillier | Tinkoff Bank - Tinkoff Insurance | 80-79-76-74-73-73-72-72 | 75 | 76 | Kritskiy | Project 1t4i | 77-76-76-76-75-75-73-72 | 75 | 76 | Posthuma | Vesuvio - Accumalux | 81-78-77-75-72-71-67-66 | 73 | 77 | Kittel | Movistar - US Postal | 77-76-75-75-72-72-71-71 | 74 | 75 | Fraile |
OZ Cycling Project are the outright favourites here, last year they won as a wildcard PCT team and this year they are the top favourites with a strong squad headed by Durbridge and Ford. Festina don’t have the best depth but are headed by some good riders, especially Coppel. Aegon are trying to have a repeat of 2014 by having a PCT team win, while Metinvest, Becherovka, Swisscom, Tinkoff and Project 1t4i all have strong line ups that could deliver today, we’re in for an exciting race.

If we don't win this, I will sell all my TTlers and buy Madrazo and Intxausti next year. And Roy.

Eventhough TTs have been somewhat unpredictable this season, it makes absolutely no sense if any team except Oz wins this.
It's all about avoiding bottom place for us, and then silently hope Metinvest-Dacia miss the big points (sorry, Avin ). |

With all those good Australian TTers, I'm considering cheering for that
Should be a clear win for you, but the TTs have been so random this year, that I won't try to jinx it...

No expectations really. Our top level is high, but having three bad riders will fuck things up on this long a route I think. Top 10 must be the goal...
Next season, though, I hope to Challenge for the win with another two riders making out, and the possibility to maybe get another rider or two with decent TT stats for 50k wages.
I hope to be better than Becherovka, but I dont think I will. Being better than Vesuvio doesnt really matter anymore as they will be better in the final three races anyway, so that ship has sailed. The season has still been great, though. I mustn't forget that.

Imagine Keizer was here.
2nd TTT event and both times Keizer was in a clashing race unfortunately.
Still podium contender. So go team. |

3rd would be awesome, Top-10 would be mediocre.

Those three "sucky" TT'ers must have been relaying a lot in the end. We were doing alright at the 2nd intermediate time, but in the end we failed.
We got inside the top 10, but only just - And again behind Vesuvio. Atleast we kept Becherovka behind us, so building a bit of room before Praha which is nice. 2nd is possible, but could still fail.

4th is about what I expected. Podium would have been cool but without Keizer tough to get.
Thanks for the report and congrats to tsmoha for another TT win. |

Well, that went pretty well after some horrible split times Didn't expect the win anymore, but like last year, the team pulled a strong final sector. Anything but a victory would have been disappointing, so it's of course nice to at least achieve one goal now. Thanks for the report!
"Ouch" performance from Festina though. TTs can hurt sometimes...

Roundabout where my team deserved to finish, a surprise to be ahead of Festina.
1t4i are so used to being good at TTTs, it doesnt matter if on paper they aren't as good anymore. And wow Movistar, that's a performance of a team who really don't want to be relegated!
Congrats to tsmoha for the win, and thanks for the report trek.
