That's sad
Not too surprising as the game was slowed down massively and many managers were not as committed as before.
And while I left the game some time ago I still wanted to follow the game silently. It's a good achievement to get far into the second season when many other story games ended after about a month.
Thanks for organising this. It was cool to be a part of this game while it lasted !
A Big Thank You To All MG Reporters!

Not much of a shock to me either, but of course it's quite a big shame. Nevertheless thanks for everything, I'm very glad to have been a part of this and to have helped out. I might try to replicate my MTN project in PCM, as I did really love it.

It's a shame to see EPIC go.
It was fun to manage Katusha, while I was a part of the game, even though they sucked in the end. Thanks for organizing this.

That's sad news as well for someone like me who always - kind of to be honest - followed this from the sideline. This surely has been one of the most interesting story games of the site, and definitely will remain in the story of the forum, considering almost no games got this far!
Thanks to everyone involved, and to Ollfardh and Atlantius especially!

this is not what I needed to read right now
biggest project I ever did and that all just for my riders. in addition also worked with Jesleyh on Europar and reported multiple races when we transitioned to PCM14 including the Vuelta, only a shame that I didn't get to finish what I was doing (including Romandie) but I found a writers block at Aquali's K-B-K report.

Hehehehe, how did we miss that?
cause nobody is french and plays pokemon
99% is based on, reference to, or just used (like Feunard = French Name for Ninetales one my favorite pokemon, also the reason the riders are french instead of the usual German nationality I usually use)
oh well still glad I was able to keep this intact, even to the point where it's was getting ridiculous. perhaps I'll ever tell about all of them. probs to The Hobbit for noticing one though

It's a pity it had to come to an end, but as others have said the signs were clear that this would happen eventually. A great idea that unfortunately just didn't have enough active players by the end.
I had some good fun in the short while I was part of EPIC, including some great offseason talk and the sudden realisation that a slightly improved Drapac were still worse than the unmanaged UHC
Many thanks to Ollfardh, Atlantius and all who kept it running for as long as they could; you deserve some serious congratulations for doing so

Well, farewell to this great game. Gutted we couldn't at least do the Giro as a final bit of fun. At least there's no more 11th places.

Same here, sad to see it go. Was a lot of fun though, and I am glad I got to manage Team Sagan and even lead Sagan to a lot of victories.
Massive thanks to Oldfart and Atlantius for the amount of work you guys put in this.

Thanks to everytone who was a part of this game. Really enjoyed managing team Greipel and my custom dudes. Especially thanks to Ollfardh for running this, Atlantius for the DB work and everyone who took the time to report a race.

So all my planning for the next five seasons of development was for nothing (serious, custom riders at least)
Sad to see this go but it wasn't unexpected, I hope it will return one day when the time is right.

Sad indeed, but it was foreseeable. Thanks to all the work you did for this Ollfardh, same goes to Atlantius and the many various reports. We will always have a very enjoyable first season. EPIC was the birthplace of so many great inside jokes here. Plus, remember that Giro? Man what a GT report.
Overall I think that the DB wasn't really that good because it was largely based upon 2013 year, and that is why I had thought about quitting after this season as well. Not much fun when Sagan & Froome pretty much dominate everything anyway.

Very sad news but not a big surprise given the recent progress.
A massive thankyou to Ollfardh, Atlantius and the reporters, I really enjoyed my brief time in EPIC.
Proud to be leading the last EPIC Tour .

This is very sad.
I know I didn't manage to stay committed (San Luis, than team planning :redface , but still thanks Ollfardh for this game, I wouldn't have even stayed on the site if not for it.

I'll second everything that's said here.
Not unexpected, but still sad.
I haven't done anything for the game in the last months either, so the revolution never really had a chance.
Still, it was a very nice time with you guys and I'll keep some good memories.
Farewell, EPIC.

Yeah cheers all ... always felt that a couple of guys were making huge efforts.
Obviously a simplified model like Atlantius's project should have legs. Atlantius seems to have a really good head for little mini projects as we have seen.
I think it was ambitious and certainly you Ollifardh should be proud of getting it through to season 2. It should hopefully live on through this new project.
